Anyone seen these yet? They're figure two-packs from the (Dementedly insane) series, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. They're labelled "Static and Dynamic," which means that one is practically a statue, whereas the other is fully articulated. In my opinion, they look excellent- just like the actual characters do.

I have two sets- Dio Brando and The World, and Hol Horse and Joseph Joestar. I'm thinking of going for Jotaro and Star Platinum, as well.

Just to give you an example of the insane character design, here's a pic of Dio Brando, the mian villain, and his "stand" (psychic manifestation, basically), The World. Dio's the one who looks relatively human.

Just out of curiosity... can anyone take a guy with that outfit seriously?

(Joseph Joestar looks like an older Indiana Jones, whereas Hol Horse is a demented cowboy- their stands are handheld. Purple vines for Joseph, and a magical gun for Hol).

They are from the comics JoJo's bizarre adventure.
I have 3 couple of them:
Jotaro + Star Platinum
Abdul +
Giorno Giovanna + Gold Experience

My next figure is probably Dio Brando + The World or Bruno Bucciarati + Sticky Fingers.
I like Diavolo + King crimson too...
It's very difficult to decide...

You can see all models here

Take a look...
They are very cool

I wish that there were a way that I could get the blue Jotaro and green Star Platinum- he's supposed to dress in blue, and his Stand IS green!

heh- I'll got for the Blue Jotaro and Star, and then the Kakyoin. It's just amatter of finding them cheap on E-bay, or an anime convention.

Why do they all look like transvestites?
Do they have a Boy George edition?

Can you find them on ebay?
What kind of search have you done?
And do you like figures from the 5th series?
The stands are really cool and very poseable (I don't know if it's the correct word ;) )

This is not a gay/trans comic...
The author (a genius) is a sort of stylist and he dress/make-up his personnages with this bizarre look...

In US is published this comic?

The fifth series ones aren't excactly my favourite...

...Basically, Jojo is one of the most surreal series' that you'll see. it ranges from vampires to martial arts to rabndom aztec stuff to middle eastern mysticism to psychic entities called "stands" to superpowers and onward.

The artwork only really started looking feminine after book 4- Book 3 is my personal favourite.

And they REALLY need to make a figure of Mariah!

-And yeah, I see HJojo figures on E-bay all the time.

Ha! They DID make a figure of Mariah! It's a non-articulated statuette, though, and probably costs more than a MOTU chase figure...

lol!

You don't want to see the guy who controlled the Hanged Man- think of the big guy form the Goonies, and make him uglier!

Here's N'Duul, a blind man who controlled the element of water and could feel vibrations from miles away. His part of the series was similar to Tremors- talk or move, and you're dead (two people got literally diced into pieces by his water, and one main character got his eyes scratched out)
