Oh man, so much yes. I've especially always wanted a mini figure of the Medusa from Clash of the Titans. The Super7 people should try to get the license.

That Medusa sequence from Clash was incredible. One of my favorite films of all-time is The Seventh Voyage of Sinbad so the monsters from that film are the ones I'd be the craziest about; the Cyclops and Roc in particular.

I keep thinking about this topic.

I have read through this and the other thread where GormTransMonster was working with Rich Roland on these figures -- but that was extremely costly for one reason or another and seems to have completely fallen through, regardless.

Anyway, I'd do the 15 sculpts in that certain size and style for three months rent.

Maybe slightly less, but I still would want three months on the deliverable.

Someone else can cast the sculpts in rubber and make a mint.

Originally, I wanted to stipulate that the caster would/could not sell a self-produced set for more than $100 or a mass-produced set (China-made) for more than $50.

But the more I think about it, whatever.  Go for it.  I'll mail the scupts and you can do as you like.

If such an arrangement could be made I would actually want to remain as anonymous as possible.

Obviously there is *this post right here*, but other than that, I wasn't even involved.

I just want three months where I can sit down and bang out some kick-ass sculpts.

The only thing that I would say is that these would be fan-made sculpts of 15 famous creatures.

There would be no numbers on the feet or point values on the backs.

Transormativeness and originality will be inherent, but you know, the homage to a certain toyline will also be apparent.

Later.

This is my language, man.   B)   I grew up on Ray's stuff.  His work on the Sinbad films, in particular, is magic.  Regarding COTT, as a little kid I believed those creatures and beings were real.

The Ymir is one of my favorite dino monster designs of all time.   There is a great documentary about him on Youtube, you should check it out.

Got this the other day, it's top notch:

Just look at that Ymir sketch on the cover....I mean, give me a effing break.  When your designs become modern archetypes, what's left to be said?

There were two films that absolutely grabbed me as a child, stories that drew me in and made me believe in monsters -- and those two movies were Ghostbusters 2 and The Seventh Voyage of Sinbad. Ray Harryhausen was a true pioneer of film, animation and modeling. I'm not the type of person to desire meetings with celebrities or athletes and I don't give a crap about autographs but boy I would've loved to have met Ray Harryhausen and had the chance to pick his brain.
