So, I heard these things touched down in some areas, but appear to be the SLUG Zombies Series 1 of the Trash Pack line (as Target stores, at least in my area, seem to be discontinuing Trash Pack). I heard rumor that some of the chase figures in this second wave were made in a harder material (as some of the figures from wave 6 are)...

I figured this thread could kind of be a catch-all discussion for this wave, but MY main question for those that may know: Which of the figures from this set are made out of the harder material?

It's weird, I only saw them once a couple months ago, bought a few packs, then never saw them again. There's still a ton of GG Series 1 at Targets here, though.

The "Ultra Rare" ones of the series are the ones made of hard plastic. I've attached a scan of the pamphlet so you can see which ones they are. I've also attached a pic of a couple hard plastic ones I have.

Other differences from S1 is that there is a clear gray/black color, and the "Special Edition" ones are made of a sticky material and are GITD.

Well, the 12 packs for series 6 each come with two firm plastic/pvc figures. I dig them. I'm not about to go chasing buzzards, to try to find the hard ghosties, though....,

Wait... "Hard Ghosts"? DOMOOOOOOOOO

Series 2 have been tough to find in my area too. I usually only see a couple 5 packs. Finally got a 12 pack today. I want the glow Yucko Tacos and Vomsters.

I think I got one of each of those in my packs. Unfortunately those two are made out of the sticky, stretchy material. :(

Yeah, I don't really like the sticky ones either, but I only collect a handful of Trashies for myself and those are two of my favorites.

I like the "scared stiff" hard pvc ones. I haven't seen series 6 yet, but it's cool to hear the 12 packs will include a couple of those.

I just cracked open a 12-pack of the Gross Ghosts "Spooky Series" (which I believe to be Series 2; they're in translucent orange cans), and it contained a Junk Jumper. That figure is cast in a hard, resin-like material. Using both my own pamphlet and the one scanned by fkro6784, I'd guess that all the "ultra-rare" figures are cast from the same material.

By the way, most--if not all--of the Targets in my area have the Ghosts knocked down to $0.50 per figure.

So many toys, so little money!

Did you just find Series 2 at Target? I still haven't seen them again around here since I initially found a couple packs in November/December.

There's still a lot of Series 1 Gross Ghosts on the shelves here but I didn't notice if they were marked down. They seemed to move quickly for the first couple months after they came out, but now they're sitting. I think they made too many of them.

Sucks to only find the 5 packs. I only go for the 12 packs, other than when my kids were hardcore collecting series 2 and a figure they needed was showing in a 5 pack.

I mean, the vulture is cool, but I pretty much only want the solid/plasticky ones.

I can still find both the Mystery and Spooky series (which I believe to be Series 1 and 2, respectively) pretty easily. The Target I visited today had both, but they weren't marked down. The Target I pass by on Wednesdays also didn't have them marked down. One other Target that I pass by at least weekly did when I last checked, and the two in Clovis also did last time I checked.

Since the hard plastic ones seem to be pretty popular, any extras I get will of course be offered up for trade.

Gross Ghost series 1 has shown up in UK in home bargains. Ive only seen trash cans with 2 trashies in them at 99p each meaning a box is a complete box of 30 trash cans £30.

Smyths has two Exclusive (i think) metallic chrome Trash wheels six packs set which at the moment are on buy two for £15. There not packed at random so you will get all 12 buying each pack.

What size trash can?  The medium sized one?  I'd be interested in one if you would be interested in picking one up for me.  I'll gladly pay for it or trade.  Let me know.  Thanks

I've been to six branches of Home Bargains so far, and still not found any Gross Ghosts. Frustrating.

Well they is stuff I never saw in their stores here to like Virus Attacks sets yet  two weeks ago found poundworld selling the virus destroyer set though. Noticed alot of the stuff Home Bargains seems to get is most of the time is always by the same company's for some reason.
