I just saw this listing from Japan. It looks like it's Muscle material. Especially in the second pic of the back of the figure. I haven't been into collecting for some time now, so I don't know if it's legit Muscle or Keshi. Thing is that it says nowhere in the listing it being Keshi. I reached out to the seller and asked of it's material.

Looks like it could be a M.U.S.C.L.E. SC with a keshi back-end.

Not referring to it as a keshi throughout the auction could be the product of a language barrier; using the term M.U.S.C.L.E. instead of Kinkeshi might make sense to the seller since "M.U.S.C.L.E is what westerners call Kinkeshi."

The description also calls it an Exogini, which it obviously is not. That coupled with the darker tone of the figure implies that the SC itself may be a western product, but the back legs look keshi to me.

Here are some captures of the auction for posterity, as ebay links don't last forever:

Here is another example of this same seller's delightful engrish:

The term "snigger" strikes me as politically incorrect. I prefer "Sneaker-Alligatorian."

Seller has just confirmed it's "old Japan rubber".

But I do agree with you Fuzzbuster. I also think it's a Muscle SC with a Keshi second part.

But just think if this was a super rare. How long has it been since we've seen one go for sale?

Upon looking at the seller's feedback, it is interesting to note that they sold an almost identical auction back in December. The accompanying photos for the earlier auction look even more like a M.U.S.C.L.E./Kinkeshi mash-up than the current one:

At least the buyer appears to be happy with the purchase:

I also messaged the seller as I was curious to see their response:

It doesn't look like this seller is trying to scam anyone. I think our brief exchange inspired them to compare the material of both pieces more closely, and the conclusion they reached was that this in fact a Kinkeshi and not a M.U.S.C.L.E., which would make more sense coming from a seller in Japan.

The response of "old Japan rubber" would also seem to confirm that this is indeed not a Mag11-type situation. No M.U.S.C.L.E. SC has ever been found with the second piece, not even with those found still in the packaging.

Those pics, though, still look like an east/west mash-up to me. Especially the December pics.
