Looks like Series 2 twopacks have a little surprise: Atomic Repaints with color change and glow in the dark gimmicks!

How unexpected! And yet, totally in keeping with how they did series 1.

Maybe this means you will get Series III and Mythos together next year :)

And more Magic Egg figures in the 4 packs! USA is certainly doing things its own way.

That is awesome that the Atomic gimmicks proper are now available, although I would have lived with the "fake Atomic" figures. Most likely, the gimmicks were restored because a) it adds an additional play factor, and more importantly b) Atomic series is currently in production for the UK and others, so why switch production to a third type of figure anyway?

I hope they produce these in the ridiculous numbers they did for series 1. There's a small handful of sculpts in there that really interest me (mostly just in the 4-packs), but i'm still pretty salty for paying full price for these things the first time around. I like 'em, but they always leave me with a strong case of buyer's remorse.

You... gave away Gormiti? And didn't give me any? Heh, kidding.

I'm going to be much more careful about how I buy these, and probably focus on the four-packs (and the action figures of course) when I see them, then go for the two-packs. I never finished my Series 1 collection and want to be sure I don't end up scrambling to finish at the last minute.

With just one day left in Target's temporary price cut I managed to snag 4 more 2packs.

Unless Playmates likes continuing to play the game of not releasing certain figures for inexplicable reasons, it must be 15 total again right now, and probably another 15 intended as a second wave with the four-pack and two-pack figures reversed.

LethalWhip is missing three of them.

I was able to find the Series 2 Lords 4-packs (one of which was on a Series 1 card) at Toys R Us this past weekend. ;)

I have not seen any of the Series 2 2-packs yet. And I still can't seem to find the Series 1 Wave 1.5 2-packs from TRU (the last five FE repaints). If anyone knows where to find them online please let me know.

Thanks for all of your help!

Cheers,
markwars

Well so far today is a good day... I found Series 2 at Walmart, this morning.... and my local Toys R Us had all 15 series 2 2packs available at one time... check out the pics. I hope this sort of lucky thing happens to you guys still looking for series 2.

That gives me hope that Walmart will restock. Has your store had a Gormiti section this whole time?

Previously only one of the five Walmarts within 25 minutes of my house had series one, and that was for a brief period of a few weeks back in January or February. Now a different Walmart has stocked series 2. This Walmart is now the closest to my new apartment.

I found 3 of the two-packs at my local Target last week. The Walmarts and TRUs have nothing yet.

Another day, another score. This time it was only 1 of the 2 packs, but that puts me just 3 away from being current on Series 2. Too bad I still need 5 of the 2-packs from Series 1.

Two days ago I found two more of the Series 2 two-packs that I needed. I snagged them of course.

Now if I could just find that Moray with Atomic Mysterious Knight two-pack...

I do need to chill don't I? It's just maddening to keep finding recent remnants of Series 2 and never that particular pack. If anyone sees it I'll take it.

Cheers,
Mark

i've noticed that the series two 2-packs seem to be either selling much better than the series one 2-packs, or most of the stores around here have decided not to order as much as they did with series one. the 2-packs for series two are pretty hard to come by around here, while the 4-packs are still all over the place.

evidence to support that they're actually outselling series one can be found at the world's worst toys r us. they had a shizznitload of 2-packs not too long ago and now they're out of them entirely. they seriously had a ton, like 18 pegs worth. it was insane. i doubted them when i first saw that many after watching the series one 2-packs rot away on those pegs for months on end.

if this is indeed a trend toward more sales with each new series, it may be good news for gormiti fans. each subsequent series seems to look better, and if that's what driving the sales, then you should be snagging gormiti for years to come.

I honestly think that series two is selling better than series one. I don't know about everyone else's location but in the Buffalo, NY area they sell extremely well. For example my local TRU and Target have to restock them constantly so I don't know if it's a geographical thing or what. But I do agree that series 2 is selling better than series 1.

Well the cartoon has been on TV for about 3 weeks now, maybe that's drawing attention to series 2. Also this could be the after effects of the closeout on series one twopacks back in August. Maybe alot of kids got series 1 figures cheap and now they are hooked on Gormiti!
