I’m starting a new business and in the attempt to keep it afloat have been attacking the toys left over from my childhood. In the 80’s my friends and I would buy these MUSCLE Men for 7 Eleven daily. As we were older, we didn’t really play with them.

Anyhow, going through this part of my childhood I came across a Terryman I couldn’t find on the poster. Over the last few months, I’ve done a bit of research and came up with neither where one like this one was sold nor where a collector had even posted a photo of one. It looks like the 029 Terryman except its arms are hanging a little closer to its torso and the head is looking down to the left instead of straight ahead.

Just a short pour #029 Terryman ©. Definitely not worth what you listed it for on ebay $1527.10
Worth $1.

Agreed. That is a factory error deformity, not a unique sculpt.

Question about the short pour. With other things where there’s a short pour on a casting there’s always evidence of a short pour such as a void or more commonly a flat spot. This figure lacks such features and the mold lines line up side to side. Wouldn’t, in this case with the head slanted downward and turned to the left, the mold lines also be twisted if it were a short pour? I mean, it’s not like whatever resin you pour into a mold gets the choice of how features are positioned. The cast is set in one static pose.

At least that’s always been the case with other toys I’ve collected.

M.U.S.C.L.E.s can be warped in various ways. It is not unusual to find a warped figure with no other evidence of error other than the strange pose they are in.

Check out this thread for some examples of various deformed figures, some of which share the same characteristics as yours:

If you search the word "warped" in the M.U.S.C.L.E. section of this board you will find other threads with even more examples.

At that price I have enough warped figures in my junk tub to put a down payment on a new house. I can't wait to tell my wife.
