talking to my bro today about Muscles and our childhood and he mentioned GUTS. does anyone remember these? they had different sets. like a ninja set and a scuba divers set and a few army sets etc.. we were lamenting the fact that when our family moved in 1990, we had a huge garage sale. really huge. and in that sale we got rid of our Muscles, our GUTS, our Battle Beasts and our Ninja Turtles. truly a sad day indeed.... *sniff*
but if anyone has GUTS or at least pictures of them or knows a good web site, let me know. that would be fun to see.

Jesus yeah I remember those, I'm also part of the little rubber guys forum and someone had some for sale awhile back, I just forgot what they looked like. If they're cool enough then I now have something new to collect

Hey I remeber them! My old neighbor had a set of them along with a set of BattleBeast (we used to do battle since i had Kinnikumen, StSeinya,HokutoNoKen, and lilRedUltramanfigures). He moved away and I haven't thought about those figures since.. Wow, i'd like to just see some of those guys again for old time sake.

GUTS were AWESOME! I use to go steal them from the local Sprouse Reitz store (kinda like a glorified Thrifty's). Matter of fact I use to steal them from Payless drug store and Longs drug, too. I was a bad kid. That's how I got most of my Battle Beasts too. Bad bad kid.

I'm a good boy now, though!

where do i sign up for that forum? it would be a trip to see some of those GUTS again. they were pretty dam cool and pretty detailed from what i remember. at least as detailed as those Homie guys you collect...

off of subject for a minute: up here in Washington they had a big news deal because Homies were being sold (out of a vending machine thing) near some high schools and grade schools. and they promoted negative stereotypes, etc. etc. i thought it was ridiculous. they are inanimate figures for crying out loud. can't you say he got his gold chain from some stocks instead of from his gang? it is all about imagination!!

anyway, enough of that....
i think i'll go try and find some pics of GUTS. if anything good pops up, ill post it (or the link) here.

People rarely post to the group so it's not even really worth signing up. I think you can also find it if you search the groups on yahoo. I will have to wait until someone posts until I find out the exact name, nobody has posted for quite awhile, it's a pretty inactive group and consists of mostly foreigners I think.

i went on the internet and eventually eBay and i was only able to find a few pics. i'd bid on the eBay auctions, but they are all MIB and that is what I'd be paying for. i want some loose figures just to play with... but here they are:

If memory serves me correctly, that company that made the LordOfTheRings Lego like toys had GUTS like figures for their construction sets. Has anyone else seen them?
