I've started my hunt for the ultra rare gold train from Zomlings series 3...apparently there were less than 1% manufactured...wish me luck!

Here's my first installment video:

Well series 4 just hit the UK. This time they are clear transparent colours and have vehicles replacing the train from series 3 and a school bus along with the houses.

I must say, I didn't expect them to last this long, but Magic Box are canny operators. Much like Crazy Bones before them, they seem to have gotten Zomlings into all the major supermarkets, usually sited by the checkout. No doubt they do a roaring trade as impulse purchases. An object lesson in how having a decent product only gets you part of the way, and that success or failure is as often as not a case of good or bad marketing.

Alot of kids seem to be into these because that Video on my Youtube Chanel of series 3 listed in this thread in over 6 months got over 8000 page views pretty much on its own with no help most of my other videos barely get 50 views if lucky within a year. I know I got some youtube subscribers because of that video too. My mum works in our local small Co-op they do not sell toys of any kind except these and are always selling out of them and have a display stand just for them.

I've been wanting some of these so bad, but they aren't available in the US. Gonna have to try my luck on eBay.

I'll have a look at Cracker Barrel too. I've seen Zombie Zity at CB so maybe I'll have some luck there!

Nice. I'll have to check the CB near me. I dig the ZZB. The rubber is really nice, and the sculpts remind me of Spelunky.

Magic Box totally gave up on the US, probably all of North America as far as I can tell.

It really makes no sense -- Gogos Crazy Bones were an undisputed hit -- not to mention my gateway drug into toy collecting.

I would love to see Zomlings and Wikkeez in the USA.

The nearest Cracker Barrel for me is waaaay beyond a bus route.  Oh well.

If anyone really sees them at a CB, please provide a photo and a price even if you are not buying.

Thanks.

Good luck to you all.

I stopped by a CB today, and they indeed had the Zombie Zity Bouncerz, located back in the toy corner. Price point was $2.99 per pack of two. I picked up three bags. Anybody got a spare Archie Gruber?

now with all this mention of ziti bouncers I'm starting to question my memory on this.

It's entirely possible that these are what I saw instead of zomlings. Since I wasn't particularly into them I just remember recognizing the thing I saw from the board.

Zomlings are like bigger, softer squinkies that come in a variety of colors/different animals/gimmicks. The Zombie Zity are actual little green zombie characters, all humanoid.

I never saw any places near me in the UK selling Zombie Zity Bouncerz, though even toys r us had the head wobbler ones including the lamp post sets that did not come with exclusive figures just one of the regular 12 in that set. Though poundworld did get some Bouncerz though they came with a pack trading cards which had smelly cards in them. The cards also had zombie animals and more female zombies in them most of which was not in either of the lines as figures,

Her's a bunch of the ones I have along with some other things just in the photo.

Recalled this thread earlier today when I saw the "Zomlings in the Town" on the shelves at Fred Meyer recently (the last things I saw at cracker barrel indeed turned out to be Zity Zombies)

The crypt/house containers they come in are pretty cool, otherwise exact art style and rubber as Trash Pack, etc.

Series 2 is still at AC Moore stores here. I have the hockey player, but held off on getting more due to the material. Some of the new figures look great, though! That bird!
