Thanks!

I found him on Instagram with a bunch of other boglins... made him an offer!

My first pink slime... perhaps my last!

That's a really cool sculpt, I might have to look into these Mini Boglins.  I don't think we got them in the US.  (?)

Yeah I don't think they were released in the US... they were a big deal here in the UK though! There's a lot to collect and nearly all of them are very cheap... a couple of rare exceptions though!

My first pink slime... perhaps my last!

Never say never, but I think apart from the three or four pink Splashes, the only other known pink is a damaged Splurge:

However there must be more out there somewhere!

Crazy how few have been found.

I think I read your thoughts somewhere that they were most likely released in a the boardgame, or possibly the skulls?

Pink Splutter would be cool. I love that sculpt.

The hunt continues!

I really like the more subdued/natural colors, but even the garish neons might look right at home alongside my Scaries and Sonrics.   :)

Got my eye on a few Ebay lots....

I'll need to consult a guide.  Do you think that many MIMP people also collect these little Boglins, and vice versa?

Congrats on the rare figure, dude.

Well the good news is the natural and subdued colour (i.e. the older colours) are not the most popular so you can pick them up for not very much at all :) I like the dirty green ones!

I think it's most likely that the oranges and pinks came in the slime skulls. The skulls weren't as numerous as the toilets, which would explain why orange and pink slimes are so much rarer, and all my toilets (including the one in the board game) have contained blues or yellows.

I love Mini Boglins, though I don't collect them per say. Just grab them occasionally in trades or MIMP lots.

I have loved these dudes since I first discovered them. Living in the states I wasn't aware of their existence until I got back into collecting. For no other reason than simply a lack of supply I have managed to only add two to my collection. One of which is pink and the other is orange. Are these two colors universally uncommon or just within specific clans? My camera recently failed or I would post a pic. Hopefully I will have a replacement come the first of the week.

Hi Screamer.... the rarity of the pink and orange is strictly limited to the Slime tribe. They are nearly always yellow or blue.

In fact, other than the gold premiums, no colour is particularly rare in the Mini Boglin world!

If your pink or ornage is fromt he slime tribe, then congrats! They look like this:

Haha. That dude in the upper right is awesome. The yellow dude looks like he is giving the bird. Mine are none of these if this is the extent of the slime tribe. I will definitely have to work on adding some of these dudes to the other two. They seldom come up for auction and think most people stateside hold onto them.

Great find! I love the Slime Boglins. I have a Splash in blue, but you can't beat a hot pink mono mini--especially when one is rare and you snag it for a good deal. :)

Yeah, in my case it's the usual issue of not wanting to expend effort photographing upwards of 1,000 toys with probably no sales at the end of it.

Starting a thread in 'Need Toys' is generally a good way of drawing out sellers, especially if you know what sculpts and/or colours you're after :)

When/if you dig up your extras, by all means get ahold of me with a pic.  Although your outlook seems a bit more glum than mine (effort expended/no sales), I know what you mean.  I've got more toys than Toys-r-Us, and it is often a downer to have to dig through box after box for a few small items.

Yeah, didn't really want to start a dedicated thread as of yet.  Wanted to casually grab a handful or three and decide from there.   :)
