Custom Blaster Master Sophia III keshi

 

Designed by me and CAD'd up by Sanjeev from Brownnoize Productions.

Blaster Master holds a special place in my childhood, and to this day is still one of my favorite Nes games. As a kid I dreamt about having a toy version of the main vehicle, the Sophia III. Now 25 years later I get my Holy Grail by the super talented Sanjeev who was gracious enough to help me out on this endeavor.

For real guys, this is amazing. I also used to dream of owning one of these as a kid although keshi never entered my mind back then; I wanted one big enough to put my Joes in but now obviously keshi is more of my forte. 

 

That does pose a question though... are there any thoughts on making a Jason figure to go with it (a la SpiralZone)? I always liked his SD design in the game, seems it would translate well

I'm glad people are feeling this toy! It may be a "collaboration", but it's truly 99% Eric's passion and 1% my CAD skills. He provided the master turnaround drawings he made himself, images from a variety of other source material...and the fire! And it really shows in this toy!

 

When I saw how much this design meant to him, I thought about all the crazy designs from childhood that are still stuck in my head, and how much I'd love to see them rendered in rubber. There was no way I WASN'T gonna get involved with this project!

Ok seriously - I was doing my Quicken and going over some bills... And I have left that thing playing... And restarted it everything it stopped for the last 20 mins!!! Awesome game awesome music!

I agree, and hopefully my question about its size didn't offend. I really just wanted to know if it was as bulky as the pic made it look, and it looks like I was correct in my assumption. Seeing the pic makes me even more excited, so thanks for that!

So I pulled my NES out of storage last night and plugged it up. Coincidentally, Blaster Master was already in the cartridge slot.

 

I spent the next three or so hours playing and made it to the 4th Area before finally using up my last Continue. I'd forgotten that Continues were limited to 3 so I'd planned on just leaving the system on for days and continuing until I beat it, but that's still further than I've been in the game before!

 

Do you have an ETA for this beauty in your store Eric?

And yeah that game is hard, I still haven't beat it.

so a very important part of the mold ripped so until i fix it production is on pause. 7 are casted up so far so that is what will be available at least.

1 - Silver

1 - Gold

 

If I can get it fixed by the weekend, more will be added.
