So it took me a few days to round up some good prizes because of the move, plus I wanted to give people a chance you do something for MantisFang's yes contest if interested. (sorry I never entered anything man...I just didn't have time because of the move.) Regardless, I am ready to go and here it is.

Rules: Very simple here, in the tradition of the yes contest, you must of course include YES! I also want to limit entries to 3 per person...now if in the course of the contest you find something you like better, simply edit one of the three to what you want it to be. Beyond that, I don't care how old or new a member is, etc. All is permitted. I will run the contest for 2 weeks; sometime Sunday night on June 28th I will pick a winner.

So here is the contest. I love bootleg toys. Sometimes I feel the bootleg's are even better than the original line they are attempting to copy. I want you to show me what you feel are the best bootleg toys out there, be they a full line of toys or just a one off. If you want to explain about the toy/line, even better, but unnecessary. I would love to see things I have never heard of before, but don't concern yourself with being more obscure than the next guy. Anything goes; vintage toys, new toys, big and small. If it is a knockoff of something else established, it is good for this contest.

Here are the prizes: 3 random Elvis trading cards for the hell of it, 69 2015 garbage pail kids cards, 4 GBK minikins with stickers, a couple lizards, 6 zombie toy soldiers in all sculpts from a recent set, 6 purple monster toy soldiers in all sculpts from a recent set, 5 Monster in My Pockets, 3 zombie hunters from Slug Zombies, and 7 Ninjas for good measure. Think of it as a Ninja's & monster hunters vs Monsters fun kit, with Elvis providing the soundtrack.

Hope to see plenty of entries! Enjoy!

YESSS!!!!

Without a doubt, my favorite bootlegs have to be the awful abominations clumsily portraying themselves as TMNT.  Of course, it's none other than Turtles Fighters.

( I should probably add that I don't actually find this to be a particularly clever bootleg, just hilarious how it came to be after all of the "Oh, no, this figure will never get sold" gimmickry)

Last few hours left to enter...really easy contest if you are interested! Just remember to put YES! in the post with your picture of a bootleg toy. That is all that is required here. Give these guys a lil competition! I will officially end it at midnight central standard US time. Thanks to all that have entered so far!

I'll thrown one in at the buzzer.....A favorite of mine......I think the story is a black mother made these or came up with these for her son because there was a lack of black action figures....the same company made bronze bombers as well, a GI joes type figure line.....the pig head man from the sun man line is by far one of the best MOTU KO's out there!!!

You are correct on the story of how they got made. I read about it awhile back, don't remember the details but it basically went as you said. Pig Head Man is a killer figure!

Pig-head is awesome!

Also, I like how "Space Sumo" isn't even a sumo wrestler, but a "telekinetic ninja" instead.

So, without further adieu, it is after midnight, and I must pick a winner. I wish I would have had more entries, but I am happy with what I got. Thank you to everyone that entered, or just shared a thought or picture. By the rules of the Yes! contest, the entries must have Yes! to count, so unfortunately I had to disqualify all but two...I thought it a strong possibility that those who shared without the Yes! likely meant to do so and just wanted to participate without the possibility of winning/hosting their own contest...if that was not the case and you just forgot, sorry!

Technically I never made hosting a forever Yes! contest if you win as one of the requirements, so I leave it up to the winner and the other board members to decide if this should continue, or if it's days are numbered. There just hasn't been much participation with the last few, so maybe this is it. Up to you guys....please chime in if you have an opinion!

Okay, I have yammered on enough, I give you our winner after much deliberation by myself and my fiancee.....

..........SPIDEREARTH with the insanely terrifying: TURTLES FIGHTERS!

                                               Congrats!!!!!

It was a close one Riddler...I really enjoyed your entries as well. Thank you so much for submitting them! I will hook you up with a diener or two.

Spider, get with me via PM so I can get your address and send you your prize pack!

Woooo!  Thanks so much, man!

I didn't actually notice you left out a new contest in the rules, so I had plans to start a new one later today.  I'll still do that, but I'll give it some extra thought about how to get more participation hopefully.

Congrats, Spiderearth.   :)    Great avatar.  I've been looking for a decent vinyl version of him for years.
