Photobucket went all pear-shaped, and I felt discouraged.  BUT... I got new UoV and Gorewads, and now I shall post again!

Got these stellar sets for my birthday a couple weeks ago....

Attached File  IMG_3313.JPG   142.73K   15 downloads

Got two working ovens and a pile of original 60s molds, as well:

Attached File  IMG_3312.JPG   81.2K   24 downloads

The styro is pretty much shot all around.  First instinct was to toss it out, then I realized what excellent figure displays they'd make:

(Looks quite a bit like the scene where we first see the xenomorph's blood spilled.)

Attached File  IMG_3314.JPG   97.69K   18 downloads

The 'Plastigoop' stuff is neat and all, but I've been looking into various materials that will allow me to use the molds without a heat source.

Yes, both are in perfect working order.  :)

I've got a few 'modern' (90s neon plastic crap) ovens around anyhow, just in case...

;)

The new Yowies critters are legit.

Beautiful.   Sort of reminds me of the little animals that used to come packaged with Tetley tea, only 1000X more detailed.  I could see myself getting into these.

Consider me surprised! Heat coils don't last forever, and those are basically hot plates!

Found these awesome soft plastic (almost rubber) bag of scorpions from CVS. Thought they'd go great with my plastic skeleton warriors.
Edit: I have an extra bag for trade.

Also got some awesome ZBots from Sydot. Thank you!

So I'm not supposed to be buying toys at the moment (I'm clearing stuff out to move house), but one of the local stores had reduced the set on the right down from £2.99 to £1.99 and they were having a 20% off all toys sale this weekend on top of that, so...

Attached File  DPkmDbKWkAAdO9p.jpg   65.86K   1 downloads

I bought some ponies.

The set of three are small and made of rubber so they totally count, right? ^_^
