the original 3 and 3/4 inch Joes were amazing. they were the constant birthday and christmas gift. one christmas in particular, my brother and i got the big tan mobile Joe base. my dad (Santa) had unpacked it and set it all up with the guns and some figures etc. he had nearly as much fun as us.
but all of those original figures are packed away in the attic. they are really fun toys. i remember we lost zartan's armor, so we used a permanent marker to color his chest black.
i could go on and on with the Joe memories.......

hey, remember the Mega Mutants? I had a Bio-Viper- those were great. Does anyone know what the Monstro-viper's "Gut ball" special power was supposed to be?

The gut ball in reality was some play doh called Joe Dough that came with the Mega Monsters - you could put it in his chest cavity and mold a "gut bomb". In storyline terms, Dr. Mindbender made him with the power to generate weapons internally just in case he needed some weapons during a mission. Dr. Mindbender = genius.Ia lways enjoyed the Cobra Eel figure, and I've been thinking of getting my hands ona GOlobulus one of these days.

But he could sure come up with some unique ways to try and "kill" the Joes. Sometimes I think he was secretly on the Joe payroll with the stuff he came up with.Dr. Mindbender = Mr. Clean in PJ's with a handlebar mustache and a monocle.Dr. Mindbender = genius.

I still preferred the Bio-VIper, though, in looks.

that storage area looks like a wet dream!
too bad you don't have room to set it all up. it makes me think that it would be a dam good idea to start a 1980's Toy Museum. it could contain everything from Madballs to Visionaries to Joes. I have very vague memories of an advertising toys museum somewhere in downtown Porttland, OR. but i went there for a class and the hot teacher was distracting me............

Don't think that the wife hasn't suggested this...I'd like to do it. Charge a couple bucks, finally pay off the credit card bills that built the collection. When we finally get a house in 2008 (sigh), one of the prime requirements is going to be the space to set this stuff up. At one time I had near complete collections of He-Man, Transformers, Marvel Super Heroes from Toy Biz, Super Powers...I tend to sell a collection off when the only figures/vehicles left are going to cost me over $70 a piece to finish the series.Doctor Kent,

Street Fighter II had the following vehicles:although did they make any vechicle for the street fighter range?
Beast Blaster (repaint of Thunder Machine)
Sonic Boom Tank (Paralyzer)
Red 4WD buggy (Badger)
Dragon Fortress (remolding of the Toxo Lab)
Street Fighter the Movie was:
Devastator (Snow Cat in purple, still need myself)
Street Striker (Vamp with missiles)
Attack Chopper ?(Dragonfly)
Shadowloo Fortress (the Joe 91 HQ in purple)
Not sure if the movie or II line, seen proto pics maybe?
Karate Chopper (Dreadnok Cycle, not sure if this came out in America)
If there were any others, escapes my memory ay this point.
