I can't believe they went for that much!I have seen them for a $250 bin before.Its crazy what some ebayers will pay.

It's the first time I've seen them.
Offcourse one was the lion which is one of the most popular molds so that all ways helps a bit.
Great pieces I'm sure the buyer and seller will be very happy.

I had an idea those two specifically would jump up so much, being the faction leaders and all. I'll probably pick one of these up eventually when a figure I like turns up. I remember seeing a proto frilled lizard before.

They were never actually re-released, this type of packaging was the prototype version for that idea but they never made it back into the Japanese market.
Its also the only type of original Battle Beasts related packaging that has the year 1989 on it a year in which the Beasts have not been for sale anymore in many, if not all, countries.
