Love these auctions where the seller has no idea what they have and are probably looking at the screen thinking WTF - why so high!?
I think the seller is familiar with muscle. They have had 5 auctions in the last couple weeks I think......Almost all had a Class A figure, or...now this HeadlessSHA...
This seller just had a green Class A Ashuruman auction and a Salmon pyramid sunshine.....Also has another Dark blue class A auction up along with this SHA
FROM MESA AZ.....hmmmmm Low feedback......could be someone you guys don't like.....ARF??? Just a thought.....

A R Forbes. there. I said it. haha.... A banned Snake from the forum. From AZ
Probably isn't...but ya never know. AZ seems to have an abundance of people collecting/selling muscle. From what I have noticed.

haha yeah, harmless though. The issue is when similarly uninformed sellers go to list their own MUSCLE figs, see this one in the Sold listings and think, "Holy shit, 108/30=3.6 per figure!" price at time of posting

Why else would they plop down 1 Class A figure per lot, or break up flesh lots into 2- one having the SHA. This seller knows exactly what they have.

what would be the advantage of selling class A's this way? Seems like the auction would get more attention if the rare fig was identified in the title, if only because of keywording.

I don't think any auctions slip by the guys that pay class A prices. Their searches probably catch every auction with a MUSCLE figure in it.

You don't need any kind of keyword attention when selling class A figures. They are the attention.
Master set chasers can spot a class A in the middle of 300 commons.....quick. No need to flood the keywords at all.
"M.u.s.c.l.e. figures" or "Muscle men figures" is the only search i use when peeping muscle figures. That's all you need to search up- Pulls almost all lists with muscles in them with those two search terms.
-my thinking is- It's someone we know. Serious about the Forbes assumption.
Seller has only a few feedbacks, all from muscle lists I believe. A hard to get class A in every color lot he has sold. Now a headless SHA....all in MESA....Maybe I'm thinking too much into it....

Exactly...You just posted too quick...I was thinking the same thing. haha
Also- there's only a handful of "real" master set chasers....You can spot them all in almost every class A auction/super rare auction....They find every auction fast- probably searching up muscle lists a hundred times a day!

I think he has a clue what hes selling indeed since the starting price was pretty high... if id be selling a lot like that id just toss the price on one € per fig if i didnt know the value.Love these auctions where the seller has no idea what they have and are probably looking at the screen thinking WTF - why so high!?

to be clear I wasn't disagreeing with anyone, I just was having a hard time understanding why it would benefit them to pretend they didn't know what they had in the auction.
seems "misdirection" is the assumed answer?

It wouldn't benefit them in the slightest. I don't understand the whole "misdirection" thing. I think it's silly.

Looks like it went for just under $200.
With regard to why somebody might not specifically note the "good figures" is that maybe it's the kind of thing where the seller figures that the people who are into that stuff are going to find it anyway so why bother pointing out the good stuff? I mean, if you just stumble on a lot that has a good figure and you found it yourself I think you're more likely to feel invested into trying to win it. I don't know if that makes sense exactly but it's certainly something. People who are looking for Class As tend to scan everything that's up so if there is something they will find it pretty quickly.
I ended up winning the auction with the Green Ashuraman over the weekend from this seller. I know that the guy had low feedback but I figured it was worth the risk. When it shows up I will post if it was good just so that others will know how the transaction went. It looks like whoever this individual is that he or she has some pretty sweet figures

Sorry to double post but...
Now that I think of it I sent the seller a question asking about whether or not the 107S auction was a Salmon or Flesh colored figure because it looked kind of light in the picture and I couldn't tell exactly what was going on in the photo and the seller responded by saying that it was a a great condition 107S and that it wasn't "sun faded." Which seems kind of like an awfully specific MUSCLE collecting term to use for somebody who didn't know what they are doing.
I'm going to assume that whoever the seller is that they know what they have.

Hey all. I just wanted to say that I got my eBay lot from Heavymetal and it came quick and was exactly what it was supposed to be. So, transaction was perfect and no problems whatsoever.
