How convenient that Dr. Bombe is right where we can see him (face down) in the can.

Step 1.
Use Photoshop and recreate the MUSCLE 10 pack graphics.

Step 2.
Contact a place like Century Label and have them run you off some clear shrink wrap labels with the graphics on them.

Step 3.
Load up your plastic can, slip on the shrink label.

Step 4.
Use either a heat gun or a pot of hot (close to simmering) water and dip the can in to shrink the sleeve.

Step 5.
List and sell.

Step 6.
Really? I'm just too old for this shit.

Blatantly re-sealed! What are the chances of 1) finding a SR Dr Bombe in a sealed can!? And 2) The chances of said Dr Bombe being right at the bottom of the can, away from all other figures, allowing it to be photographed so well!?

Geez...

so much effort put into ripping people off.

I bet folks with such time on their hands and such creativity could really excel at doing something else if they didn't invest their time in ripping folks off lol...

it would have never occurred to me that someone could reseal a 10 pack.

We suspected it when he had a 10 pack with Satan Cross right on top and highly visible, but wondered how. Then after MuscleThings started putting out his custom shrink wrapped cans for his custom figures (that was genius!), we realized it could be done.
I borrowed MT's ingenuity and went through the same process but for my OMFG Series 2 (http://littlerubberg...9-omfg-series-2) figures.

I have a handful of sealed cans. I do have a few with a figure on the bottom just like this one is. One is a green claw sitting right on the bottom.... I definitely don't scam anyone or reseal anything....

So is Forbes just stuck with all his crap, or will anyone trust the dude? I know a few people on this forum that have said they have never had a bad experience dealing with the guy.

Even if it was legit, is anyone currently collecting that would drop $3,000 on this? Sorry, I mean $2,999.95.

The last crazy MUSCLE purchase I remember was vette's $500 for a cardboard tube.

I was reading about some of his shenanigans earlier. It made my head hurt trying to follow everything. Sounds like he has a chronic lying problem.

PF

Me either. I was wondering why he was putting so much emphasis on it being FACTORY SEALED, ORIGINAL FLESH, NEVER opened, FACTORY SEALED (did I say that already) in MUSCLE packaging, SEALED in MUSCLE packaging (have I mentioned that), FACTORY MINT condition, muscle men packaging. It seems almost like he is trying to be too convincing. Is it common knowledge that the shrink wrap can be reproduced? If so, then those in the know would question it anyway.

Only a die hard Muscle collector would consider buying this. And I think it is safe to say that they would leave it FACTORY SEALED haha. So, if one were to assume that the packaging were fake, why couldn't the figure be fake as well? He knows that it would never be opened for someone to thoroughly scrutinize it. Almost a perfect scam really.
