Pokka Coffee has been releasing very cool Kinnikuman Exclusives for the past few years now, and the recent Six Devil Knights line is no exception. Released two weeks ago in Japan, these little suckers have been on the top of my want list.

Sold only in convenience stores like 7-11 and Lawson, the compete set is kinda hard to find as most people are buying these for their morning caffeine jolts, and could give two hoots about the free figure attached to the top of the can.

My nephews were searching high and low for these everyday for the past few week for me and really hooked me up this time! The figs are highly detailed and made of a flexible rubber material.

Man... I wish we had such amazing premiums in the states. Can you imagine if Kelloggs had taken advantage of the Pokemon craze 10 years ago? All they would have had to do was drop a mini Poke fig in every bag of cereal, and they would have made billions! :D

So did they come seperated in pieces like gashapon?

:D I am with you there mate. I would seriously buy just about any product if there was a neato premium included. The manufacturing infrastructure is already in place for Japanese premiums for properties like Pokemon etc, so ya... what in the hell are US food companies thinking? :D

If there are US premiums, they are usually pretty lame and cheaply made. Why not piggyback off Japanese premiums for Japanese cartoons that are mega hits over here?

Yup, the figures are gashapon - most are comprised of four different pieces.

You know what... I think I recall a cereal company did do the pokemon thing now that I think of it... but it sucked. I believe there was a spin top in every box, but only like 4 or so differnt ones.

At least Nestle's Quik had a random chance of over 200 MUSCLE figures per container. :M: (now that would be a rare flesh set to have)

I've always been partial to the neato Soft drink cap collectibles Japan has. They are always super cool, and they each have their own stand. :)

Pop Tarts had some very nice metallic repaints of the 2" Tomy line, including a different Charmander sculpt than the main line had.

If only there were Sunkus stores on every corner around here  I would keep an eye out on Yahoo or Rakuten auctions.

Here is an auction I found for you: http://page13.auctio...ction/r70264836

Here is the official name of the line if you want to do some of your own searches in Japanese: ポッカコーヒー キン肉マン 悪魔六騎士編 (Pokka Coffee, Kinnikuman, Six Devil Knights)

I have never used Rinkya, so I am not sure how it works >-<

Here is a whole search thread with lots of auctions:
http://auctions.sear...tab_ex=commerce

I got the best results with just "ポッカ キン肉マン," Pokka Kinnikuman

According to the Pokka website there are three series. While I cannot find an official checklist, here are the other two sets:

http://page.auctions...ction/135258554

http://page4.auction...tion/d111478335

Additional info: I do have the checklist insert for the latest line - they are the 8 figures shown in my pic above.

I would email Yutaka at Kaikodo and ask him if they have any of those in stock. He speaks a fair amount of English, but I would include pics or links to pics just to be safe. Take a look at this link for some recent pics of their store - as you can see they have a lot of Kinnikuman gashapon in their Kinniku sections.

http://www.kaikodo.net/reshope.html

He takes PayPal and is sooo easy to buy from.

I am communicating with Kaiko right now to pre-order a Kaikodo Romando Tileman figure and will ask them about the figs you are looking for. Let you know what I hear back. If they happen to have them and you wanted to save on shipping, they could hitch a ride with my figure and then I could just mail them to you.

Our glorious Milky Way is a tiny, infinitesimal speck of sand in this vast, incomprehensible universe. And somewhere in that Milky Way is our own solar system, less than one billionth of that speck of sand that is the Milky Way. And then there is our planet Earth, one hundred trillionth of that one billionth of that one speck of sand. And on this planet Earth there is DEV-0, an insignificant blemish with a lifespan too short to measure when placed in infinite time.

And you are here, with them, as so many specks of sand.
