What the eff? This is crazy. Do an ebay search for Ram Man 2002 and he is well over $20, even as high as $35.
Now that is insane.

Mine cost me a good $8.50, or so.

it's because he's "rare," like mer-Man, and scalpers have taen advantage of that fact.

And speaking of such, Mer-Man's e-bay price has begun to drop. Give rammie a few weeks, until the new 'rare" figure comes in.

This is a great example of the impatience of collectors feeding the scalpers. There's no reason to think that this item won't be found in the stores eventually. These idiot collectors are so goddamm impatient, that they must get one as soon as possible despite the cost. The ironic thing is, the collectors would be able to find a Ram-man in the stores if all of them weren't bought up by the scalpers. Ugh... friggin' morons...

Yeah I agree. People who pay scalpers those prices are not even paying for a "rare" figure. Those figures are still in production so how can they be considered rare? They are just paying more to be the first one on the block to own it. By the time production stops and collectors will have moved on to the next hot line of toys, those "rare" figures will drop in price. Its completely backwards of how it should work. 25 years from now when every other collector has 3 MOC Ramman 2002s in their closets, they will still only be worth $8.50.

Good Grief!!

I've had the chance to get ram-man and merman quite a few times, but of course i work at Wal-mart on night shift so i can c them while they are still in the case.

But i would never buy them to scalp on ebay.

Im sure its harder to find these guys in bigger cities but if they just keep looking they will surely find what they are looking for.
