Nice item but I still can't justify $200 on it

Glad to see it go to a LRG member.  :doc:

$200.00 is a lot for a tin can but when you think about it, i think these are a lot rarer than the purple claws or SHAs. When it comes to rarity, they're probably closer lot of the SRs. I'm kind of surprised they don't go for more.

I know they manufactured more of these than anything else but they're all history now.

And when it comes to M.U.S.C.L.E. pieces for display, the Nesquik can is my favorite. We drank gallons of that stuff when we were kids.

Congrats Foxman on acquiring an item that you love.  And respect to you for letting a legit auction run its course and winning fair-and-square.  I suspect that since you found the owner on your own you could have just made an initial offer and avoided  any/all competition.  Respect and congrats.  Keep us updated on a display.  Are you going to put it in an acrylic display or shadowbox with some MUSCLE around it? Or just keep it boxed up and out of the light?

Sorry, it looks like Foxman is raising his hand saying, "it was me. I won it."  Haha.

Anyway, congrats there SmokinGun, how are you going to display it?

Well, I got small shelves lol! Just displaying a bunch of figures at the moment. I like to get some bigger shelves in the near future to display more of my MUSCLE accessories and other stuff I have. Hopefully soon.

  • Open canister; dump in a bunch of M.U.S.C.L.E.
  • Fill rest of canister with QUIK
  • Place in kitchen pantry
  • Pretend it's the 80's every time you grab a snack

Or make some molds of some muscles. Learn to make marshmallows using mold and put them in tin with quik. It'll be the best of both worlds!

Doh. um, yea, not me who won it. I wish I could afford one but oh well, maybe some other day.

Glad SmokingGun got it though. Good to keep it in the LRG family.

Yea, I am the one who kind of discovered it on the Facebook toy group and directed the guy here though. I kind of freaked when he first put it up. At first, I was afraid he was gonna let it go for like $10 bucks or something. LOL. I mainly just wanted everyone around here to be aware that there was one available. It's not every day those things come up for sale.
