So as I start to get more and more of these dudes I want to know what sets are out there.

I'm sure there are a million sets out there, but can anyone point me in the direction of any checklists at all?

Any help would be appreciated.

If anybody around here had any, I think it would be Eric Nilla. That guy is the keshi master.

I'm starting to buy these up where I can and try to piece together info based on Yahoo Japan auctions. It seems like there are a few 'complete sets' for sale which I can use as reference.

I wish I could figure out how to message the sellers to ask for reference when they post these types of sets.

I'll try to figure out where the Canfull of monster dudes are from too. The post says they are Ultraman figs, but I'll try to figure out specific sets. I know at least some (like the bubble looking guy and the butt headed dude) are from the Ultraseven set that I have but I don't think they are all from there.

But again, please. Every checklist helps if you guys ever find any.

I've identified the complete set of sixteen figures before, and their series of origin, but I've never done it in image form. This will hopefully spread and be the last time I dig around old forum posts to constantly relocate my own ID work. Since the image is so clear and complete, I've borrowed the group shot from Little Weirdos to do this. Looks way better than a text list of names this way.

Awesome, thanks dude! It lines up with what I found here.

This is the Ultra Seven "Great Monster The 30' and the 7 guys that you have listed as Ultra Seven dudes are all from this set.

I'll see what I can come up with as a source set for the rest.

Those boxsets are cool, but they're not even the origin of those molds. They date back even further, with the Great Monster The 30 boxsets being Bandai reissues of them. I think they're all by Popy, but I can't recall if they were in turn taken from even older Bullmark releases, or if their keshi line was different.

I have seen Ultraman Popy sets being sold as 'parts' on Yahoo Japan up to at least 12, similar to how Kinkeshi or Necros has 'parts'.

Haven't paid too much attention to which sculpts are in there although I do know I own at least a few.

The price is always unnecessarily high on them though because I guess the luxury of getting a complete part as opposed to scattered figures increases the value.

I think those "Great Monster the 30" sets are from the early '90s, though as mentioned they use molds that had already been used many years before that, including some that were used in Canfull of Monsters. The fact that the figures are firmer than typical keshi helps to differentiate them though. I have 2 different sets--the Ultraseven one shown above and this one in a red box with 30 different kaiju. Eventually I'd like to compile the names for all 58 kaiju between the two sets.

Eventually?! Ultraman and Ultraseven IDs are easy mode. Give me a few minutes.

Jeez, why do people want to know these things and never ask?

The Ultraseven one was tricky, as the pic is much less clear and I can't tell at all what one of the figures was from the angle in Sydot's image. The way he positioned the figures he removed from the box also threw me off, but Perolinga, Pegassa and Godola are all distinct aliens so it's easy to fix that depending on how they actually sit in the box. Otherwise assume left to right, then back to left on the next row.

Ha, I am glad I mentioned it here before trying to figure them out myself. Thanks man!

I have the Ultraseven set too so I can try to post a closer-up pic of that one here tonight to confirm any that might have been unclear.

Your box's contents are in different spots than Sydot's, fkoro, so keep that in mind when you look at this list compared to the last one. Wouldn't want you mixing up the IDs. Picture really did clear up those couple of figures I couldn't see perfectly, thanks!
