[M.u.s.c.l.e. God]

I was wondering what you guys think about something.... something that I have started to think about.....
Even though Satan Cross isn't on the poster, he doesn't seem all that rare. I've seen an average of one a week on Ebay for the last few months. Right now there are at least 2 up for auction.
I don't remember seeing him as a kid.... but then again.... I've gotten a few common ones I don't remember from my childhood..... I had a few hundred as a child and my friends had tons too!

What's everyone think? Am I missing something? Does someone know how many of these things were made compared to other M.u.s.c.l.e.s? Did anyone have him back in the 80s or know someone who did?

Maybe Ebay has given me the wrong idea of the numbers of this figure... after all, where else can you get M.u.s.c.l.e.s period..... I have one store in Pittsburgh that sells a few loose figures in a box..... might be one of 2 stores in all of PA that sell them.
I feel light headed..... DAMN YOU SATAN CROSS!!!

that is funny. my brother and i were just discussing this very thing.
you are right, there have been a lot of SC on eBay lately. i see it on eBay as least as often as other muscles (like the Hand for instance). if someone were to pick a random muscle (# whatever) and then look to see how often it was on eBay, i really dont think it would be that more frequent than SC....
But the thing is that regardless of whether or not it is rare, people think it is so it will always demand a premium. i know that some people (like dr. frank i think) had 2 or 3 of him at one time. so it doesn't seem that rare. Johnny runs across a ton of Muscle so I'd go with him. probably one for every couple of "regular" muscles..........

I think Satan Cross is probably a bit more rare than most MUSCLEs. Satan Cross is similar to the vintage Yakface... Yakface is supposedly one of the most rare vintage Star Wars figures, but you can get him pretty much anytime you want to on ebay. This is because big toy companies like Hasbro and Mattel produce toys in massive quantities (there were something like 25 million total vintage Star Wars figures sold back in the day, yet nowadays they're considered rare). So, there are probably alot of Satan Crosses floating around, just like there are alot of Yakfaces.

Doc Dew's right... if people think it's rare, they'll pay alot of money for Satan Cross, despite the fact that the figure was probably produced in the tens of thousands. It's all in what is PERCEIVED as rare...

Does anyone know of any different colored satan cross? Or was he only in pink? Just wondering.

Only pink. The MUSCLE that is. The Kinnikuman version came in multiple colors and came with the back half.
