Mainly have Kinnikuman/MUSCLE stuff, but I also have some GI Joes and a custom painted MOBAT I found at a model show.

I'll try this either on that spring ring or a Elite Real Scale Ring which is the larger ring on the pic

The size of this one is more scale to the Kinnikuman Figures

only problem is that the aprons in this one are made of cloth (so I may have to dye it black or yellow if I choose to buy one, and if dying is easy enough, i'll dye the ropes orange as almost all rings in the kinnikuman anime had that rope color)

but there is only one scene I can recall where someone actually got something under the apron in a match as of the G1 series (Super Pheonix got something from under the apron to aid omegaman during a match)

I'm sure there are others, but that was the only one I knew of.

Watching old anime as if it's in style, since whatever is trending nowadays just wouldn't suit me at all.

You can buy iron-on transfers that can be printed out on an ink jet printer. You could print the decals on some of that and try ironing it onto the apron cloth. Of course, my decals aren't sized for the elite scale ring, so you'd most likely have to cut the logos and characters out and iron them on separately.

Seriously one of the best custom items I have ever seen. Looks like it was made by a professional toy company.

I am in awe!!!! :shok:

clawfreak, it isn't copyright infringement for him to make it. only if he were to go on and try to sell it after. if he makes and keeps it for himself there is no infringement.

this is sooooooo awesome. i am going to look into making one. it is so much better than my custom ring! (i still love mine tho because i made it ;) i am sure mainman would agree that making something = auto love lol )
serious good job mainman. top notch work and the tutorial is also excellent!

I actually tend to be extra hard on my own creations because I want everything to be perfect. I am very pleased at how it came out though. Do you have a link to the custom ring you created?

I may not Use your tutorial to neccesarrily make a MUSCLE ring, but if I will use your tips and directions to create a replica of the Choujin Olympics wrestling ring with a Raw superstar ring (I just wanted a ring fast, the elite real scale ring is a Toys R' us Exclusive).

Once I get that done, i'll make my own topic of it.
