I think this thread should be closed as well, because there's gonna be a flame war here.
But I wanna quickly throw my fair share of two cents in.
Both shows are kinda tied in my top favorite anime, but usually I'll lean more towards Ultimate Muscle for comedy.
I find Dragonball Z having more action in it than ultimate Muscle since there's so much of that disappearing-reappearing in every other episode, and yet, Ultimate Muscle's more comical than DBZ. (and yes, DBZ has it's goofy moments too)
So, they're both really good to me anyways. ^^;

Man, you leave the forums for a little while and look what happens? Your old topics revive themselves and go to hell. And I don't see any reason to close this thread down, it's funny. And the ridiculous conversations are exactly what it was designed for. I mean, c'mon, UM vs DBZ? That's like the Pikachu vs Superman threads I see on GameFAQs all the time. It's called a JOKE TOPIC peoples, it's not meant for serious debate 
And the people in DBZ to so stare at each other for more than 10 seconds. Remember Goku vs Frieza? That was literally entire episodes (yes, plural) of them staring at each other. I should know, I was an avid watcher of DBZ until the Buu saga, where it just got weird.
