Well, some people won't mind a 4 inch figure, if it's padded with accessories (good ones)A 6.5" meat? You crazy? its going to be more like a 4" figure. For some reason peopel feel more ripped off with a smaller figure so they might put him with another.
Check out my Avatar, now pretend the fake afro isn't there (I drew it, it was a joke... let's leave it at that). The Palisades Rizzo Muppet figure is small, but he comes with HUUUUGE accessories. If Meat were like that, I'd buy him...
Okay, I'd buy him anyway.
But what are the odds of a two pack of Doc Nakano and .... that other guy.
And I like how the 40 pack is just 10 bucks. It's like 10 free figures. It' a bargain compaired to the original 5 bucks for 15 figs ($10 for 30) Plus, the packaging is pretty cool. Though, I care not a whit for pakaging since I open every thing. Easier to display.
It looks like series 10 will have great new figures (Dailbolic with his electroshock dreadlocks for example). I just hope Nakano and Meat are in the mix.
As for the action figures, well, I'm fairly indifferent I may get Mantaro or Suguru, but I want Wally. But I'd rather get the little figs, meself.

That's true. The prototypes of the 6.5" Ultimate Muscle figures had joints that matched, while the production ones don't. Of course, UM isn't the only line in which the production figures look different from the prototypes... McFarlane figures often have the same problem.Remember that they are PROTOTYPES.
I think that the 1.5" figures will be, more or less, the same as the prototypes. There's not much Bandai can screw up with them as long as they glue the pieces together correctly... although I'm sure Bandai will rise to the occasion with their characteristic incompetence.
I should say that I haven't had many problems with the first series of 1.5" figures. I have a few figures with misapplied glue, and a Wally Tusket whose head top is coming off (I call him Lobotomy-action Wally), but for the most part I'm pleased with them.

Hm... I know they were released in Japan previously, but I thought that the ones featured in the Bandai press releases were "working copies" for the American versions. Oh well....Nate, they weren't prototypes. They were the Japanese versions that were already on the shelves in Japan at the time.
But these new figures might not be prototypes, either... they might just be the Japanese production figures, too. Anyway, I guess the point is that figures shown at Toy Fair don't necessarily reflect what the production figure will look like. We'll just have to wait and see...

Seriez 3 should be:
DialBolic
Boaconda
Addversarious
Sunshine
Cranky Doodle Crab Daddy
Terryman
Hydrozoa
Brocken Jr.
PrETTY COOL EH? But no! Bandai will never have any good ideas like that. Special button action shouldnt be there either. Just let them live in happiness!
