In all honesty, I can't decide. One was a cheating ass that emulated moves from previous antagonists and whatnot and got beat by a deus ex machina.

The other is a cheating ass that got new powers as the plot demanded and got beat by a deus ex machina.

Opinions?

Atleast Dirty Baron actually did stuff. Phoenix just had powerups shoveled on top of him constantly.

I don't really know why, but I never liked Dirty Baron that much. This character design seemed ugly for the sake of being ugly, and he seemed just a rehash of old villains since he used most of their moves.

I don't really know why, but I never liked Dirty Baron that much. This character design seemed ugly for the sake of being ugly, and he seemed just a rehash of old villains since he used most of their moves.


The problem with filler enemies and movie enemies is that they have no themes. They just look like random monsters. Now, a better idea for the Sword of Justice Arc would have been that the "theme" of the enemies that that they were classic/mythic monster designs. Like a vampire, a robot, an ogre, a mummy, etc... Big Magnum was a pretty cool looking henchman, and he didnt even do anything in his 2v1 match against Warsman. Wild Bakuto's Card Magic seemed totally random for someone of his appearence.

I think that kind of thing would have been better for Devil magician, and better yet, since he would want a rematch with Terryman anyway. Personally, i think the Sword of Justice Arc had a LOT of good idea's. Some of the stuff that happened in each match was pretty awsome, and i enjoyed Ramen Man vs Evil BUffaloman. I would have liked Dirty Baron more if his color scheme was different. I was thinking dark red pants and a generally darker color scheme in general. Not sure about the Mullet either.

In fact, i liked some of the idea's in that arc so much i based a portion of my rewrite/fan-fic on it, just replacing the Heinous Chojin with the Akuma Chojin.

Dirty Baron wasnt a bad villain, he just wasnt used well in filler. Also i always thought a better name for him would have been something like "Baron Blood" or something.

Since we are on the subject of filler, i always thought Yama Kahn's teleport peg leg gimick was actually kinda neat.

My son and I are both honored by the nomination. Additionally we are honored that he took the time to click on my profile, save the picture to his computer, and then attach it to this unrelated post.

I went with Veers. Although I'm not sure if I would really call him a "douche". When I think of a douche, I think of a slimy little twerp. Veers might be more of a jerk than a douche. ;)

Don't nerd rage. Don't take Veers' posts too seriously either.

I've made PLENTY of stupid noob posts around when I joined and got hassled by Veers & his circle jerk pals. Looking back it's pretty funny though. Of course a lot of the hate is because i'm just so thug. SpectreSuperSix5's signature is all too familiar to me, mang. Ya feel me?

Just drop the grudge you have with him and things will probably go smoother. I've had a dude on this forum nerd rage on me. He ended up getting mocked kinda like what's happening in this thread.
