Well, I picked this guy up, used, secondhand, out-of-package, and missing his weapon... for $2.50!!! (he was released in 1996, BTW)

Here's the basic overview:

Sculpt: Definitely McFarlane, but before the comapny decided to make every figure a disembowelled corpse! It's an excellent snake design- he has a good expression on his face, the scales are very nicely done, and I love how he's hunched over.

Paint job: Absolutely wonderful. Sansker is painted mainly in muted colours, except for the stripes on his body- like a snake. It's simply, but it works.

Articulation: This was before McFarlane Toys made statues instead of action figures. His articulation is good, although the bendy tail isn't very bendable.

Accessories: He comes with a club. However, since I don't have the club, I can't tell. La-de-da.

Overall: 4.0 out of 5. Sansker is surprisingly solid, and a lot of fun! Try some of the older Mcfarlane toys- you won't be disappointed!

yeah, except for the first two series, early "spawn" stuff is kick-arse, especially in terms of articulation.

watch out for the mid-torso joint, though. i had a mc-farlane figure that had one (dark knight spawn?) and it was very weak.
