I dig most of the characters. My standout favorites are Dead Ted, Sy Clops, Bony Tony, TV Stevie, and Richie Retch. The only 2 I'm really not a fan of are the new Nasty Nick and the Dee Jay BNS 1 figure.

Great! Can't wait to have them in hand. It's going to be fun trying to put together sets, especially mono. Not long now...

Final month! Feels like ages since i put in an order for these guys. Digging the line up too, id say theres about 10 i really like & the rest i can live with. I agree with Jackson, that Nasty Nick is lousy and the DJ one (which i don't even recognise) is pretty bland.

I thought there where only 24 figures in series 1, but now we've seen a total of 26 characters am i right? How does that work..?

Yeah with 26 figures and 5 sets( painted, red, blue yellow and green) that makes a master set at a nice 130 figures. Then hunting down gold figures haha.

Sorry if I missed it mentioned in this thread, but what type of plastic are these made of? Soft or firm?

I believe I've read them described as "bouncy," so soft, but I'm not sure if they're talking extreme soft like Trash Pack or firmer than that.

Also, just noticed this post on Facebook from Topps' presentation at the Philly non-sports card show.

They show a Beastly Boyd figure and hint at a series 2 already!

That seems like a really nice size to me. Not too small, as I was kind of worried they would be. I read somewhere else that the material is not overly squishy/soft either, so that's good news. It's looking like Topps got it right with these. I'll be anxiously awaiting my boxes I preordered. A full set in mono colors will be a beautiful thing. I am more excited about the idea of opening a bunch of these packs of toys than an adult should probably be, haha.

Thats awesome! Im glad they're a bit bigger than what we first imagined, looks like they'll display nicely with cheap toys too.
Cant believe they've announced series 2 already! I get the feeling were gonna see many more of these, thankfully. :)

Oh man...thanks for that link! More excitement.

I wonder if between series 1 and series 2 we'll see all of the classic series 1 Cheap Toys characters represented. So far they're all accounted for except for Thin Lynn and Alice Island, right?

I haven't read any news about a release outside of the US. They definitely need to consider a UK release! maybe with variations:)

Haha, nice. For some reason that made me think of the old Garbage Pail Kids movie. I guess just the voices or something.

I'm glad to see they seem to be prepared to do a lot of promo surrounding this line. It's nice to see some effort being put into it unlike how Jakks handled SLUG Zombies. Fingers crossed that they catch on with a wide audience.
