good day guys and gals.

I've got a bee in my bonnet and I'm sure someone here can help!  no pictures I'm afraid so here we goooooooooo.

I had a poseable action figure in the 80's, purchased moc, about six inches tall, standard physical build not like motu or anything, material military clothing, hard plastic hat/helmet and a black rifle, skull head with hair woven into it.  it was purchased in England.

I'm sure it was called 'devils army' or something along those lines.

I'm going by memory so some of the details may not be accurate.  I bet the things still in my folks attic but that's for another day!

Ring a bell with anyone?  Due to the generic description I'm getting no joy on search engines.

It's definitely not skull force though!

Cheers all

Some of your description sounds like Nightmare Warriors.

Nay nay and thrice yee nay!
It was years before bravestarr and it wasn't the other guys.
Imagine a smaller vintage action man figure, standing up straight rather than an action/fight stance. The thing that fascinated me as a young pup was the 'actual' hair rather than moulded with the head.
It was from a cheapo type shop so I'm sure it wasn't a mainstream release.
Thanks for your efforts so far. I know we all love taxing our greying grey cells but I am grateful.

No and no.it had material clothing. Think I was probably too young for the homocurious stage of stripping my toys naked so I assume the actual figure wasn't detailed.
The hair is the key with this one.
And I'm really not bullshitting with this.
Thanks all

I recommend doing a crude drawing from memory. Someone did that in another post recently and it worked out pretty well.

Are you certain it was a skull on the figure, or could it just have been something like Pulsar with a removable face and a robot head underneath? I'm sure it wasn't Pulsar himself, but maybe something along those lines? How old are you, or what year did you remember having it? Those details would help a lot. It sounds like a Mego figure to me, based on your description of clothing, etc. Being from England it could be a lot of toys I've never even heard of too. Was the hair close to the scalp, or crazy like a troll figure? Any details you can describe will help us figure this out for you!

Bravo Sir!  Top of the class!

That's the bugger.  100%

Over to you now.  Do you anything about the line?  Where did you get that pic?  Is that the actual name of the line?  I daren't run that through a search engine, I can just imagine the tonnes of generic crap that'll be there!

Once again well done and thanks to the rest of you for your time and effort, you're a bloody good bunch!

Freaky looking!  looks like the ghost of Lucille Ball if she died on a USO tour.

So it's that toyline with memories of the name of another similarly-themed skeleton toyline mixed into the lot. Hmm, neat.

Fricking skeletons.
