I started a thread with this topic in the Toy ID section, but maybe it's better here since it's Japanese keshi and I guess strictly speaking I'm looking for more info about them and not an ID.

Here are the figures I'm looking into:

What I do know is they were made by Meiji in 1979, and that they're keshi figures. I also know they were released as candy toy premiums in Japan, and each figure came in a box.

What I don't know is how many figures are in the set, and whether or not each figure came with a base.

I've scoured the English and Japanese webosphere but have come up with almost nothing except a single Ebay auction, which is how I found out about the boxes. :unknw:

Anyway I'd like to do a proper write up about these on KK but would like to have some more info first. Very mysterious line indeed!

Thanks folks.
