Hello, all!

 

I'm doing a quick survey here and compiling some data.

 

I am trying to see who the most popular fighting game characters are, so I am interested in hearing who your Top 20 fighting game characters are.

 

For my purposes, the rank a character attains on an individual list is unimportant. I'm simply checking to see which ones appear in a Top 20 list the most frequently.

 

You can discuss why you chose each character on the list, but you don't have to. My list is based off characters I played the most in their source games.

I'm putting this table into a spreadsheet and then using the most popular characters for MUGEN.

 

I have trouble restricting myself when it comes to collecting MUGEN characters, and it gets overwhelming when the roster gets too big.

 

This way, only characters that surpass a certain popularity threshold can come into the roster. Currently, any character with 3 or more popularity points is being added to the list.

 

You'd think that would be an easy goal, but the vast amount of characters in the genre makes that harder to achieve. So far, I only have about a dozen characters on my roster.
