I don't know who else on the board follows One Piece, but I love this series. I can't be alone here. I have next to nobody in real life to talk about it with, which really sucks because the story is getting insane-good. 

Anybody?

I don't follow the series, but I have had a little bit of experience playing some of the games.  However, with no perspective on the franchise I always kind of shrugged after playing them.  DO you like the games that are based on the series too?  Or just the series?

I haven't played a One Piece game since Gamecube. I couldn't tell you. The story is killer, though. It stands to be the biggest epic in shonen manga history.

I follow One Piece since the very beginning.. I was around 10, haha!
I own all the available mangas here in Italy and follow the spoiler chapters every week!

I noticed in the picture of Blackbeard's first dual wielding of the darkness fruit and the earthquake fruit, that he had a bunch of rings on his earthquake hand. I have been wondering if it's his body holding the fruit's power, or maybe he had the fruit put into the rings? I've seen the theory about him having a parasitic twin, too.

Never heard about this theory before! It's interesting, but I remember that when Blackbeard arrived in the war to steal the earthquake power, Marco speaking to his mates said something about the "strange body structure" Blackbeard has.
Also, I think it's something linked to the Jolly Roger he has: I'm talking about the 3 skulls on his flag... Something like a "triple personality" or something like this.

Mine.. Well, a lot! Haha! I would say that my top 3 is:
Zoro-Sanji-Blackbeard

Well, obviously the demonic trio! They are too awesome. LAtely I have really gotten into G. Usopp, Blackbeard and I have always had a soft spot for Birkans like Urouge and Enel.

Akainu is an interesting character, though! If there's one of the admirals that I don't care for, it's Borsalino. 

 

How did I forget Garp on my list of favorites? 

 

Any theories as to why Sanji is only wanted alive?

Kizaru's voice in the anime is so amazing though.

 

I'm a pretty big one piece fan but i only watch the anime and am about 20 episodes behind. I might pick up the manga after I finish reading kinnikuman because I'm bad at reading more than one manga at a time. How far apart are the manga & anime?

 

 

 

Favorite 3 characters are crocodile x 3.

The manga is up to chapter 802. I don't keep up with the anime. How far into Dressrosa are they? They've just gotten to the next island in the manga. Crocodile is pretty rad. I like the theory that Crocodile used to be a chick, and that's the secret Ivankov was taunting him with.

Other luffys mum/mom theory is she was a
Celastial dragon that was killed after luffys
Birth which caused then marine Admiral dragon
To go berserk and leave the marines

Whitebeard was also a marine admrial
That left the marines check his coat
Magma once called him a wasted

I think the new crew mate 

will be one of these four 

my preference is law 

(not sure what has happened to his crew

if they are all dead then he will be joining)

i would also like perona to join

caesar clown is a complete weirdo 

but could join the crew 

kuzan could also join the crew 

however i think he will join 

but a lot further down the line 

if he joins that takes the total number 

of pervs to four in the crew

I think Blackbeard is going to kill Kuzan, I was kind of hoping Bellamy would join, and I think Jimbe dies before he can join. I think Smoker and Tashigi are locks, though.

Glad bellamy didn't join too weak

Honestly, don't know why Sanji should be brought only alive to the HQ..
About who will be the next to join the crew, I say: Momonosuke!
A young Samurai with the ancient power of the dragon would be totally awesome!
Also, he has a powerful power that is not really able to use.. This would totally fit in the "growth" of the crew!

I feel like Momonosuke is going to stay in Wano country after that arc. At this point, Oda is giving us characters that have to fit a specific role to the crew, to help them in the upcoming conflicts with Blackbeard, the Shichibukai, Yonkou and the Marines. The conflicts are pretty much only going to escalate from now on... And Momonosuke is a bit too far behind, in my humble opinion. You could be right, though. With Oda, you never know.

I felt like Bellamy might have been a good candidate, kind of for the same reason you though Momonosuke would be... Except that he is closer in power to some of the lower/mid-tier Mugiwaras, and has a bit of redeeming to do. 

On that note, I kind of feel like Bellamy and Buggy are going to wind up being unlikely allies as the battles start getting crazy.

(Fun to read but I just prefer the anime)

I was wondering about the significance of the "M". 

I think Law will be an ally, like the rest of the fleet, but Luffy's crew will likely only have 10-12 members on the main ship. Also, Law is a little too Sabo/Ace, to fit on Luffy's boat. He'd never be Luffy's subordinate... Not that Luffy is huge on subordinates. 

 

I hate the theory that Jack is Axe-Hand Morgan. If it turns out to be correct, I will be more bummed than by the reveal of Whitebeard jr.
