Funny these are the exact oposite of the transforming figures. These you have to trap in planetary gel.

Here is what they look like in their container.

I got these 2 at Walmart for $4.95 each.
They come with these containers and you have to add 3 packets of powder that will harden into a gel to trap them in some form of alien planetary gel.The smaller figure up above came in the exact opposite way you had to dump him in water and have him hatch from his planetary ball.
I didn't bother adding the powders because I just wanted the little fellas just the way they where.

:Howard Dean scream:

Those figgies are awesome! (Your pictures look great too!) Yes, either Fitz or myself will definitely be documenting these on Toypedia! And they'll get an entry of their own. Thanks for these awesome pictures.

Too bad bad they're so expensive though. Geez!

Glad you guys are going to use this in the Toypedia. :D ^_^

The best thing I love about these guys is the container they come in.
I use it to store my transforming figures.

The live action one? I'm sure it probably was lame. The cartoon was alright though.

EDIT: I still have no idea what the powder stuff does...

You keep the figure in the container add the 3 packets of powder with water and it forms a gel around the figure to keep him locked up in the container.
Hope this helps. <_<

Man, these prices on new mini-figures are killin' me. I mean, M.U.S.C.L.E.s were cool largely because you could get ten of them for like $3. Hell, they're STILL 50 cents or less a pop, even saddled with the "rare" and "collectible" monickers that eBayers like to use to ruin hobbies. Now all the cool little toys out there have to have some sort of crazy gimmick that jacks the price up to like $5-6 a figure. I was fizzing a Dino-Magic egg with my wife the other day, talking about how it was nice to have some reasonably cheap toys to collect. Until she pointed out that we'd dropped like $70 on the things and i realized how many Battle Beasts i could've gotten with that. :(

Oh well. These definitely look like something to look forward to in the 25-cent bins of 2013. :)

Yeah it's either fizzing or trapping it in some kind of gel. Or making a stupid game for it and adding little papaer cards so they can jack the price up=(

These are definitely cool figures. I've had a packet of these in my hand at the store more than once but couldn't get past the price either. Considering I got pretty much all of my Fistfuls for .50 a package at Walmart.

I looked at the Sumo's too. You get more for your buck, but still...

It's amazing what toys cost. I looked at the Bakugan's (my daughters are hooked on the show) and they are $5.00 for ONE marble sized figure.

I hear you both on price - if you really want to get a complete set of the Sumo Slammers or the Alien Rocks you have to fork out BIG BUCKS for playsets!

I suppose that's the power of a successful brand like Ben 10 :bunny:

Maybe the release of new series of the Alien Rocks & Planetary Powder figures will push to older ones in to clearence...
