I am not sure when these are from, but apparently they were available in gumball machines at some point. A full set consists of twelve martial arts-based sculpts with some delightfully engrish names, as outlined in the pamphlets that accompanied each figure within a vending bubble:

Although the booklet shows images of painted figures (as well as what looks like a shrunken image of the vending header,) all the ones I have seen are monochromatic.

They are made of a soft, flexible material with light gloss, and have CHINA stamped on their backs. With excess flashing and varying deformities being common among those I have, I would rate the production quality as "fair."

I personally have no memory of these figures. Does any remember these, or know if they might be bootlegs of another pre-existing line?

Those do look very similar! I wonder if the Bruce Lee figs were the inspiration for this line?

I think Wing Chun is actually a chick, based on the bustline. But then again, as a kid I thought the same thing about M.U.S.C.L.E. #208, Dickieman:

Who's got the fuller rack?

While we are on the subject, as awesome as it is for a man with breasts and an Ellen haircut to be called "Dickieman," wouldn't it make more sense that his name was actually intended to be "Dixieman" as a reference to him being from the southern United States? Maybe this has been discussed before and I missed it, but I hardly ever think of #208 outside the context of him being "the M.U.S.C.L.E. with tits."
