A big Thank You to Spastik4Plastik. I finally have the 4th character that I never received back in 1981. The figure is in perfect shape. Thank goodness. However, this is not an ARCO figure. OR at the very least, not from this line. It may have been from the bagged form of these toys I had seen many years ago that did not come with the towers. It is the same exact mold, but on the bottom it says "made in China" whereas all my others say "made in Hong Kong". Also, the red of the Red Lizardman is more of a solid color. The red on the Ogre (or whateverthehell he is) is almost clear. I will attach a few photos so yo usee what I mean. Some of the pics make the ogre look yellow like the Griffin and Cyclops. It is not the case. The Ogre is red.

p.s.

am I the only geek who is obsessing over these guys? I must not have enough work to do...

Congratulations on your score. Reading that you've , in essence, been waiting for this figure since 1981 is amazing. That amount of time needs not be glossed over. Amazing.

Its been a long time since ive had that feeling when it comes to toys but soon ..my time will come :)

Divide & conquer works because of attachments people make to push-button issues, individual "leaders," parties, clans, tribes, policies, or agendas, leaving them open to manipulation.

thank you. I am amazed I did score this guy since there are only about 8 of us LRG members who have ever heard of (or care) about this small line. I still will be on the hunt for the REAL red lizardman since this guy is really not the same from this line. BUT, I am VERY happy with it, nonetheless.

Also, as an aside, here attached is the RLM with one his lead counterpart from the Advanced Dungeons and Dragons line from the same time by Grenadier:

I'm a decade late to this thread, but I'm a huge fan of the Dragons n monsters line and trying to pick up some figures and towers! Does anybody have any that theyre willing to part with?

I do not, unfortunately. BUT I am glad to see a new person showing interest in this very underrated toy line.  :D
