The Target I work for put the single blind boxes out. They're $10 a piece. I picked up four to check them out.(sorry for the quality of the pics)

The packaging is amazing. Gold like foil all around. Instructions on the back. I looked the package over and didn't find any type of serial number to distinguish a figure from another.

The first thing you'll find after opening is a paper map. On the other side is more instructions and a checklist of figures in the set.

This is all the contents of opening the package. The red tool is very sturdy. It's the same in all packages. The hunk of rock is wrapped up in a gold like plastic. I needed to use a blade to open it enough to remove it. There is a circle marker that you place on the map. Line up the holes on the marker to reveal what golden treasure you could possibly get. The rock itself is messy. Doesn't depend on how you go about removing it to get to the figure pieces. I wet it the first time like the instruction's suggested, only to be met with a messy soup. I took apart the other three dry. Not so gross, but the chunks and dust still got everywhere. I was digging the figures out from inside a plastic bag. The best way I found was to take the larger point of the tool and drill holes in on both sides until it came apart. Then I started breaking the stone apart with my hands. Felt like I had more control of the mess that way. Send the kids outside to dig. Or you could just have the vacuum ready.

After all the digging you have two legs, two arms, a head, a torso, a weapon, and a treasure chest. The treasure chest and torso are wrapped in plastic. Again I needed my blade to remove the plastic. There is an orange like sand inside the treasure chest. You're supposed to use water to make the sand fizz then dump it out. I did that the first time, then just dumped the sand out the others. Each figure comes with a green treasure matching them. I didn't get any gold treasure. The figures are sturdy, slightly bendable plastic. The joints go easy into the torso. All the left hands are in the same position. Maybe to hold the treasure?

There's my score. I like these figures. There is a good variety of different ones. Getting them out of the stone is kind of a hassle when you have more than one to open. It took me a while to open them, clean the figure pieces, and clean up the mess I made. But I could see anyone having a good time with at least their first one. I'm honestly thinking of buying one just to keep in the package. They really put love into it. The weight of it even feels nice.

Great review. I picked one of these up last week and the wife and I enjoyed the whole routine. The price puts me off a little (between £9.99 - £10.99 over here) plus I’m seeing so many people getting the same few common figures. What we intend to do next is but a Treasure X 3-pack set (£29.99) as you’re guaranteed a gold piece and also have a chance at a gold figure. We’ll probably leave it then in favour of Ready 2 Robot, which are also pricey l, but have more playability - especially where our daughter is concerned!

Also just to add, they don’t all come with the same colour artefacts - it’s just crazy luck that all yours did. I think maybe those one sglow in the dark. Mine came with a “crystal” spear head.

I also intend to get one 3 pack when my store sells it. I didn't know about the guaranteed gold piece or chance at a gold figure.

I'm not sure if the treasure I got are glow in the dark. I'll have to test it later.

I think the 3 packs only have three variations of what you can get. There is a different checklist from the 3 packs, I belive you cannot get all the figures you can get in the single packs from the 3 pack's.

You can only get 3 different gold treasures, and I think every pack comes with a gold treasure and a gold figure to. And there's only 6 standard figures you can get in the 3 packs, with 6 normal treasures.

So it makes me think that if you get a certain gold treasure/figure you'll also get the same common figures in the chest to?

I’ve seen a picture of the figures available in the 3-pack (on another social media from) and there are in fact 9 figures that are available: 3 commons, 3 rare (translucent, glow) and finally 3 completely gold figures. I don’t know if you’re guaranteed one from each category, but I do know you’re guaranteed a gold piece from a selection of 3 gold pieces: pyramid, goblet, dragon

Yeah, I think I saw an opening of one and they got one figure from each section, a gold, rare and common figure. The gold treasure came with the gold figure.

I have a hunch that it will be the same figures packed together, because it is a Moose product, and they often have packs with similar assortments that you can track.

But I guess will only find out by opening them and getting a duplicate box haha!
