I was at Walmart and saw these guys, they caught my eye! They are somewhat soft/stretchy but not like trash pack cheap feel (sorry if you like Trash Pack, not trying to bash them). They were $5 for a pack. They are about Slug Zombie size. Just a tad bit bigger than Muscle. They only had dark and light green but from the Walmart listing they are getting blue and red too.

Awesome I've been dying for a stylized army man set ever since I saw pics of those Russian figures from the 90's, http://www.littlerub...howtopic=151282

I bought one of those to get the dog figure. They're okay. In hand, I was a little underwhelmed by them, but the dog is a lot of fun, and the little grenade launcher deal is a lot more fun than it looks.

I like the way they have the grenade launcher.  That makes it look pretty fun.  Reminds me of when I was young, getting one of those dart guns, but they had the little cardboard targets.

So I saw this video and now see just how soft these guys.

A bit of a disappointment, but I'll still probably pick up some army green vs commie red packs.  Since they are made by imperial, we can hope that they reuse the molds in a firmer plastic.

for 5 bucks, these are pretty decent.  they totally fit the criteria of Little Rubber Guys.  they are very soft, but maybe that can be chocked up to a "safety feature".

WHat section are they in? The main action figure toy aisle or one of the side toy aisle?

Regular toy section but the area where they have the cheap toys. They are on the bottom in the racks.

I recently got a pack of these guys (the green Squad 1 pack with Duke the dog included), but I have not been able to find the other set of 4 guys in this set...I actually got the set at our Walmart for $2.50 instead of $5, and the company that makes them doesn't even have them on thier site anymore I guess....these guys are different, and I like thier overall size and design.

Just wish I could find more....they remind me of the little guys in the "Battalion Wars" video game for Nintendo Gamecube...:)

Oh, and I tried looking these up to get more, but not even ebay has any...I think they were discontinued or something....which is really stupid, because I've seen worse toys out there that stay on shelves for years....why is it always the good stuff that gets taken away :( Like Lenard action figures....good luck finding those now....most the products and toys on the shelves these days (especially where I live) is dollar store quality junk that breaks easy...yet, they still charge $5 to $10 for the stuff, just because of the fact that the toys are of popular characters (Batman, Wolveriene, Spiderman, etc.)

As a toy collector, I have been very disappointed in the quality of toys in the past few years. It has gone down so bad....even Star Wars figures are flimsy, and break, and barely any figures have articulation, unless you spend $10 or more on one figure by itself (barely any accesories included either). So all in all, these toy manufacturers are just getting plain lazy now, and most consumers are spending the extra money, and falling into the trap....welcome to America I guess....

Sorry folks, I just had to get that out there....:)

I looked at several walmarts and no dice, I don't ever remember seeing them at any time and our 8 walmarts always have at least something that the rest of the region has :(

These remind me of Army Ants, probably one of the closer things we have gotten to them in a number of years
