this picture shows a slight but interesting variation to the #85 zariganian. the figure on the left has yellowpaint to mark his eyes and the figure on the right has no paint over his eyes. It is simliar to the rainbow samu variation. I think it is pretty cool.

thanks-
brent ;)

Is there a scarcity level on this variation ? Personnally all the Zani I got were yellow eyed.

Hi there
Looks neat, but appears to be a paint error. Is there any yellow in the eyes? Just my 2 cents.

I think a lot of the variations are Japanese vs. US releases. I have that Colonel Bird Variation. The darker one is from Japan. As well as the Orange suited Gorilla (JP) vs. the Red gorilla (US). Light Frog (US), Dark Frog (JP). Orange Crab (US) Pink Crab (JP), Tortoise - black plastic (US), Tortoise - orange plastic (JP) etc. etc.

The 3rd series have quite a few different shades of paint, but I can't think of any true variations. Maybe they cleaned up there act by then. I have paint variations of King Cobra and Tanglin Pangolin. Bu they are very slight differences.

paint variations piss me off. Major shade differences aside, the little hue changes from beast to beast are so slight as to not even be true variations.

I would agree...if it is really slight...I don't worry about it.

and lets not forget what a little sunlight can do to these guys, they can add some overall lightening of the hues as to make it look like a variant. grrrr....

Here is a pic of the Monkey Fighter Variants, one of them has a skin color painted face and the other has a white color painted face. Also the green armours are different in color.

I have 6 porcupinie variations so far. I got a lot of 55 Beasts yesterday, they looked like brand new. It had my 6th variation, also had some minor paint variations of other figures. When I get my basement office done, I will start taking some pics and get them posted here. I also have 6 colour variations of the killer carp, plus clear carp, plus striped carp, plus one of TGB's blue ones.
