Our glorious Milky Way is a tiny, infinitesimal speck of sand in this vast, incomprehensible universe. And somewhere in that Milky Way is our own solar system, less than one billionth of that speck of sand that is the Milky Way. And then there is our planet Earth, one hundred trillionth of that one billionth of that one speck of sand. And on this planet Earth there is DEV-0, an insignificant blemish with a lifespan too short to measure when placed in infinite time.

And you are here, with them, as so many specks of sand.

I know there's a couple of people who would buy a metal claw; we'd love to see this happen-- it's been attempted three times, but to my knowledge, not with enough efficiency to produce high quality work like The Godbeast's works.

If a plastic reproduction beats your metal one, y'gotta hang it up!

If you've got the equipment, it should be worth a try.

im gonna go for it and give it a try...

But its gonna be on my own time. i dont have alot right now so i wont be giving an update anytime soon ... when and if it happens i'll show everyone. its been about 7 years since ive done this and i know people that can help me... lets all expect the worst but hope for the best. also im not going for anything extravagant, i'll prolly only make a few if i do. we'll see...

I bought it from this guys who tried making them. He put it on Ebay and I won it. Then since I was getting out of Muscles (due to the divorce) I made sure to sell it to the claw master (at the time...looks like "Nobody" has the biggest claw collection now...maybe). :D

If anyone needs any help ( although Ericnilla seems like he has everything under control based upon his post) LMK. Ive done some metal casting of small scale items aside from the usual casting and they turned out well. This was long ago though as i preferred the lighter material that i could "machine". Im not interested in a metal claw personally but it sounds like a *very* cool project piece.

On a side note...you could always create metal infused "plastic" Claws as oppose to solid metal figures. Its an option and looks good.

Divide & conquer works because of attachments people make to push-button issues, individual "leaders," parties, clans, tribes, policies, or agendas, leaving them open to manipulation.

Sounds awesome. Do you have any pictures of the metal-infused plastic?

I have a chromed Energy Dome (a limited-edition of thirty by the band DEVO [chromed plastic]) that I got for $500, but unfortunatly the plating flakes off like crazy. I'd not recommend metal plating MUSCLES.

Hey everyone. I've been in my own little world for a few years, but I've recently ventured back into MUSCLE world. I noticed there was some talk about the pewter figures. The only one that I ever successfully made up to my personal standards was the metal claw that was purchased by The Amazing Godbeast. It them joined the Claw Army of Doc Moore J. I have one other pewter claw in my own collection, but he seems to have run away (possibly to the Closet Abyss).

In my recent research, I determined that the problems I had with my first attempt at pewter figures were as such: I did not pre-heat the molds and I did not thoroughly dry them between castings. Adm. Godbeast gave me some tips on how to improve on those errors (such as ahem...PRE-HEATING and DRYING). Chalk it up to youthful ambition blinding common sense.

I am thinking about trying to make some more in the coming months, mostly for my own collection. I think some figures would look sweet on a shelf or a desk. If I make some that turn out really nice, I'll offer them to others. What I REALLY wanted to do is get one of those 29th anniversary 418 piece sets to make molds from, but I was outbid at the last minute on the last auction at a reasonable price. I can't afford 1000+ dollars :) Maybe someday. I want a pewter prism man :D

Alrighty, that's my story. I really miss my MUSCLE friends. I'm going to try to do my webpage again- that was always a point of unfinished business for me.

Take care,

Patrick

I still have my Patrick Gresham Satan Cross. It was actually the first SC I obtained as an adult collector.
The detail is a bit lacking, but still a very cool custom, nonetheless!

I had the recipe for gummie worms and wanted to make gummy muscle men, untill the wife threw away about 150 or so of them thinking they were the kids junky toys that they no longer played with.
