For those from the UK these little guys should need no introductions, Zig and Zag from Vivid Imaginations in 1994. These guys brought such joy on 'The Big Breakfast' early morning tv show and so I snapped up the set

Thanks folks. No, it’s not a bootleg. There are indeed fakes of these guys out there, but thankfully some helpful collectors put together guides on how to spot them. There are some telltale printing errors on the boxes of the KO versions.

@stoffhimel, I got it from Mandarake for a (comparative) bargain at 40,000 yen due to some slight damage to the box and paper inserts. Certainly a whole sight better than this set that sold on eBay recently:

I bought these in October and had them shipped via Seamail and I got them today.

With these two (green and red gashapon machines) I have 6 vintage gashapon machines total.

I will tap out here with buying more due to space and also because I was finally able to get my hands on a modern BANDAI gashapon/capsule machine (thanks to my Father In-Law; It was a Christmas presents!).

Unfortunately during shipping the second plastic/acrylic front wcracked but that is easily replaceable (just have to buy a new/used one).

Now I can finally place the Daishi boards for the new Part 1 & Part 2 2017 in the machines along with Part 1 and some Part 2 capsules (I cleaned out a machine in Akihabara).

So this kinda completes my gashapon machine goals (minus 1 which was the 1st BANDAI cylinder shaped BVM-101)

Just got my Secret Santa present today And let me tell you all...It was worth the wait. My vision has come true, thanks in no small part to a member of the forums TikiMan is here Not just one either mind you, but a whole tribe of TikiMen...In multiple colors too so much for this gift...Not only the sculpt itself, but the time and effort to make my vision a reality And I got a little purple eye guy too There's also a purple TikiMan, but he is a post office casualty with a broken leg and wrist But not to worry, I have super glue He'll get fixed right up.
