After the recent pretty unsuccessful relaunch of MIMP I found it interesting that the line was also relaunced in 2003 here in the UK (I have no recollection of this though).
I'm usure if it was ever actually released but the line consisted of various 6" poseable figures, 150 mono-color, non-poseable 2" figures (possibly the original figures?), cards, accessories and 26 episodes of a CGI cartoon.
While the above is of relative interest what I have really found interesting is the attached document. It appears to be promotional material for the makers to market to other companies rather than the end consumer stuff we usually see. It gives a nice insight in to what was happening in the boardroom of Peak entertainment (they bought the 'in my pocket' rights in 2002)
Nice find Matt'
What im most curious about is the relaunches failure i.e. why did it fail (or for that matter why do all miniature lines fail or succeed)?
The story line seems simple yet engaging (see Power Rangers for that formula lol. I dont know if the MIMP had explosions in the background), it succeeded before and it has icons that are marketable...so what gives?
The backstory....was it a new creation or was this morlock/warlock biz' part of the original story line?
Divide & conquer works because of attachments people make to push-button issues, individual "leaders," parties, clans, tribes, policies, or agendas, leaving them open to manipulation.
