Probably a question for URS or Boaconda but I got a few of these in the post the other day and added them to my collection but dont really know much about the toyline/manga/anime? so was just wondering was there a non-bootleg toyline and what are the names of the figures and on a non toyline note is the anime/manga any good for someone who likes FOTNS/Tank Police/Appleseed?
Here is my collection so far if anyone has any PM me.

there are original Heavy Metal L-Gaim Keshi in japan, they dont show up that often though.

I've never seen the anime, so i cant say how good it was.

Well, there were keshi versions of the knockoffs I believe.

And some pretty snazzy model kits as well.

Here is a mecha site with their L-Gaim section you can browse through.
http://www.mahq.net/...gaim/l-gaim.htm
There's a page in the anime section as well.

Other than the mech designs, models, and miniatures, I'm fairly unfamiliar with the franchise. Don't believe it ever got licensed to the states....Sucks there are so many amazing anime series that don't get any love over here.

Even the stuff that gets the love over here in the UK isnt well distributed, I have to get most of my stuff on the web, but yeah some jap stuff never even makes it to dub stage. Thanks for the URL, ill try and find out what ive got, id like to get my hands on some models but I have no space, maybe one day I will but the space is already reserved for Guyver/FOTNS model kits :)

I don't go by Boa anymore, FYI. Everyone else seemed to cover the info rather well, and I've never watched the series myself. Don't typically watch much anime at all, really, I just pick up on some of the mecha from seeing their toys.

That's okay! I thought it was also worth bringing up because I don't know that all the regulars remember who I am. Hope the OVA turns out decent!

Also, you've got a PM!

I used to have one of these when I was a kid. The one on the far left, center row, except he was green. Got him out of a .25 cent machine, so I'm sure he was a boot, sine I live in the US. Crazy how many knock-offs and boots we got over here that were only available in .25 cent machines for us, but had fully developed and robust toy lines in Japan.
