A pair of white cloth pants - bell bottoms.

 

Snap looks very vintage

 

Were these for GI Joe, Big Jim, Ken (Barbie) or something else?

 

I can find a GI Joe that has similar "blue jeans" - but cannot ID these in white.

My experience with anything Evel Knievel is that he always wore shiny, white jump suit like the one pictured here: https://www.retrotog.../2006/09/e4.jpg

 

These pants are definitely something like cotton.

I know my 'Action Man' (UK)  from the 80s (maybe 70s) had trousers with that snapper... it's actually quite nostalgic!

Can't help anymore than that, but I'd say it's that period.
