GPK Minikins Series 2...first of two boxes cleared. These are the results. Gotta say...not overly impressed with the painted specimen. Monochromes for the win...AGAIN!  Needless to say, I'm going to be looking forward to some trades to complete sets.   Mad painted doubles yo!   ;)

I haven't been able to find these yet.  Maybe my Target isn't getting them.

And, here's the fruit of box #2...

Anybody up for trades?  I have plenty of doubles and the black Clark Shark from my first box (pictured above) is up for grabs too.  I'm looking to compile an assorted solid color set and a painted set (with good paint apps).  Let's deal!

I bought a couple 2-packs today and got a peach (1st one, forgot her name). But the 4-packs I bought had a yellow or 2 in them. Is that the deal w/ series 2 I take it as well as unlisted very very rare black figures?

Where did you buy them? The peach are supposed to be hobby only (for example, comic/card shop) and the yellows are supposed to be retail only (for example, Target).

It was a comice book store called Comics2Games in a box rather than gravity feed. I only see the 4 packs for 7 bucks @ TRU so 3 dollard for a 2 pack seemed like an easy choice! I was out of options after giving up on every Target and WalMart in the area!

Yellow has been found in hobby boxes too. Their qt isn't known to be spot on, so peach in retail is totally possible.

I grabbed five packs and got two yellows. Are they mroe common now or something?

Also, try squeezing the really fat kid.  It feels very odd.

Nope, same odds. You just got lucky. :)

I think Slobby Robby is hollow inside. It really does feel weird to squeeze, haha.

He is hollow.  The weird thing is how it interacts with the glue and the plastic's natural stickiness in contact with itself.
I have him in blue and yellow now  I need a painted one.  But he is cherry pickable...

Okay.  Many Lenny creeps me out.  I mean, he really freaks me out.  Like, AGH! KILL IT! KILL IT WITH FIRE!

I am not cut out for child care.

I checked a super Target near by and they had nothing. Went to another older smaller size Target and they a box for series 2, but only the 2 figure packs. They also had quite a bit of series 1.

Here are my first pickups of the series.

I finally bit the bullet and ordered a hobby box, a retail box and a dozen 4-packs. That peach is incredible.

Sucks these area still only available in the states & Canada. You'd think Topps would want to cash in and go global with these but no.
I mean, I spent close to a grand all up last time. A grand, Topps! Don't you want my money?

I've caught the Minikins fever and pulled a black Michael Mutant out of a 2-pack. I've saw some crazy prices for the black figures on Ebay and have talked to a few collectors who've sold these figures anywhere from $80-$250. Just wanted to get some more thoughts on it -- any of you have experience buying and selling black series 2 Minikins?

At the beginning of the Minikin craze with series 1, when black minikins were first popping up some were sellings for crazy amounts, $200+. But after they were out for awhile and the crazy died out the Black Minikins were selling  for a lot less. Right before series 2 came out I was seeing  a bunch selling for around $40-$60.

The craze with series 2 is just the same, although I dont think they will be selling for around $200 this time around, Closer to $100. The popularity of the character plays a part too.
