I'm looking to get a raw, uncut (hold the jokes, Luke) diamond, but have no clue what is good or what is not, pricing, etc. Do any of you guys have any knowledge in this area?

And no, I am not trying to get diamonds from anybody here, to be clear, just looking for information.

Because, that's what she likes.

And Luke, if you want to cuddle, you're going to have to ask nicely.

This seems to have quite a bit of info:

Are uncut rocks something you can purchase? I've never looked into this before, or heard of anyone doing so. It should be cheaper than your average diamond due to the lack of work that goes into them.

Yeah - uncut stones are pretty common on Ebay.  You just gotta do some digging (no pun intended).

I am admittedly skeptical about buying them online, for the obvious reasons. If anybody has a dealer that they can vouch for that operates online, I am all ears.

I went back and checked the handful of sellers that I normal purchase gem stones from - all they have are colored stones.  No diamonds.  Sorry!
