Started a new thread, been a while since the old one and it can stay buried unless people want me to link back to it for the old works. Going to be a lot more sculpting based since I have far more fun with it.

Our first set of victims are Boogeyman and a little Terror Dog pal for an idea of scale. The pup is pretty much done outside of a few refinements, Boogie is still getting his proportions figured out. The coat is the most refined thing on him at this point.

At the moment just my personal facebook page, I don't know if I can be searched with the privacy settings I've enable at the moment but should be able to link it. Eventually I'd like to get an artist page rolling when I have more to show for it.

https://www.facebook...100008331943493

Anyone here can add me if they'd like! If that link doesn't work I'll adjust the setting and all that jazz.

That boogeyman is creepy. Kudos on sculpting so large. I have yet to take that plunge. Scared to work so large.

Hell of a lot easier. I miss my college sculpting days.

Sorry for the late reply everyone!

Thank you elrojo, I have a much larger sculpt of that dog that is being cleaned up so I can get a couple of casts done. The Terror Dogs have always been one of my favorite creatures from any franchise!

Redjarojam - He's looking very similar to the new Tobin's Spirit Guide illustration (a book well worth the purchase for any GB fan). I prefer sculpting around the 5-8 inch mark, with most the characters I've done so far it's a LOT easier to cram all their details in there. Should probably get some pics of Illumina (He-Man) and Alexstrasza (WoW) in there.
There are some larger ones started too, Thirty-Thirty (BraveStarr) and (King Caesar) that I've benched until I can get some more room cleared away to start working on them again.

Would love to start doing some smaller pieces but have no clue as to what... plus I've already got some BB sketches roughed out that will be getting sculpted in the future.

As mentioned, and to show that eventually Boogeyman will get refined and clean up. Illumina - a character from the He-Man Universe that has a rough history as far as her creation and standing in that community. But her design is pretty swank and at the time I wanted more practice sculpting things that were more human.

The flash muted a good deal of details. Really want to get her finished up and slap a paint app on.

Just because he'd been mentioned before, got a little cleaner now that his face is sanded. Should be able to start working on the hands and getting the rest of that hair in there this weekend. Still need to make that base a little more interesting...

If anyone is curious, this guy is mostly a mix of Sculpey Firm + Sculpey III.

The armor on Illumina is nice! All those interwoven parts look good. Boogeyman is still creeping me out just like he did in the show. Well done.

Both of those guys are still movin' along, hoping to get Boogey finished up soon since our local Ghostbusters group doing one of the conventions in a few months. Terror Dog will be getting cast for a raffle and want to get Boogey included in that as well. Just need to get the right size valve and can mod for the pressure pot and get things rollin'.

Afterwards I want to try do some sculpts in a smaller scale, maybe 3 in tall max as busts. Battle Beasts are a done deal but don't know if I want to do any from the existing line or do some of the ideas that have been tossed around that others want to see for new ideas. Also though about doing some of the MiMPs or M.U.S.C.L.E figs for variety.

WEIGH IN on this stuff. I'd have no problem posting them up for sale here and/or doing some casts instead of just one-offs.

Been cleaning up this sculpt for the past week or so. Still a few bits here and there and then ready to cast. Been taking time away from the other sculpts but pretty jazzed to see how it all turns out. Really want to paint one up and see how it looks with color.

Incidentally, this guy is also my first Instagram post. Feel all with-the-times now.

Terror Dogs and Godzilla will always be my favorite movie critters. One down - one to go!

Started workin' on this guy while waiting for silicone layers to finish curing and wanted to try sculpting something smaller. Also a great chance to break into the tub of Monster Clay that has been sitting around here untouched for over a year. Only a little taller than most MiMP's, which had to be bought for reference :notme:

Finally have some casts to show off. Pretty proud of these wrinkly buttheads, wasn't sure if their mold would hold up but it's still going strong. Hope to get a few more pulls out of it then paint up some of these guys. Have some solar pigments that might make those eyes really pop.

Original take on this little guy before stepping away from illustrations. Can't say that I miss it all that much but still throw out doodles for creature ideas that'll get sculpted eventually.
