Okay, this thread is ONLY for those who weren't old enough (or even itching in daddy's pants) to remember when MUSCLE was first released.
I know there are quite a few of you here, and I was wondering if you'd care to share how you came to love MUSCLEs or Kinnikuman.
I'd love to know....
For all you youngins....

they came out a year before i was born. i came to find these little buggers on i-mockery.com and x-entertainment.com, 2 sites i regularly visit (which i found from fark.com which i dont remember how i found that!) and at first i thought, "hey thats cool, 4 of 'em for a buck. it would be fun to trade them." then the insanity set in. i went to bed not even thinking about them, and i dreamed that sunshine and Kinkotsuman were melting and that sunigator claw was trying to mold them together again. i don't know why, but the next day i spent 50 bucks on ebay auctions (still haven't gotten them yet, this was only a few days ago). then i started reading all about them, i eventually found nathans site and Jkaris' site with the fan-fic comics and read those. then i found toriyama world and i have been addicted ever since (ever since 4 or 5 days ago hahaha) but i intend to collect some and buy a hotwheels case to store them in. oh yeah, today was my first time ever seeing the cartoon, and i have a few things to get off my chest.
#1. Sunshine: if he doesnt turn good, then i am going to pretend he is sunshine's evil twin, because i like him and want him to get along with the others
#2. Niku (meat): his voice is disturbing. he should talk in a higher faster voice like most annoying anime cartoons, not like a grandma with lung cancer.

When I was 5 or 6 I had a whole bunch of them (even had the NES game, which is on display with my collection right now!) , I loved them, they were among my favorites of toys, then as I got older they sorta vanished. How, I don't remember. Fast forward to years later, I was cleaning out my room when I found 4 of my old ones in a box that was inside of a closet, seeing them again sorta "re-awakened" my love for them. Some time after that I decided to go on the internet and do a search and see what I could find out about them, I stumbled on a few sites and learned more about MUSCLE and Kinnikuman. Even bidded and won a few lots on eBay. today my MUSCLE collection stands at 60 (not counting the 3 dupes I have) 2 Romandoh figures which of whom was purchased from jkaris, and with the help of these forums and it's members my collection will only continue to grow!

I eventually wanna add a couple Romandohs to my collection, but not right now....
I really want a Blockenman......because he's not allowed in the US.......
I'd also like a couple Blockenman bootlegs (I know they're out there, because I had a couple as a kid)......

Yeah, when I was growing up in the late 80's early 90's I collected all sorts of toys, including MUSCLEs, Battle Beasts, Trash Bag Bunch, Mighty Max and anything else I could get my hands on...Then one day as I watched this weird new show on the Fox Box, I suddenly remembered all those cool toys I had. Now I am on a quest to dig through the garbage in my house to find these toys, and so help me jeebus I will find them!

I can't remember when they came out. I guess I was about 3 or 4. I really don't remember too much from when I was little with them, or how I got them. My mom must have bought them for me. I do remember bringing them camping with my little brother, or playing in the mud with them. And of course, I had a friend who had a million, and it was always fun to look at all of his... He's still around, but he'd never dream of giving them up.
