One of the execs did mention that it's an unexplored horror niche... I can't think of anything like it really. Might be kinda neat to see something completely original, even if it sounds crazy. Give it a chance Draz! ; )

It just feels like another crappy horror movie aimed at 14 year olds.
I still haven't played the games but I intend on picking up the first one next Steam sale. I don't doubt that they're good games, I just have a hard time imagining them as a movie.

Yeah II haven't played the game. I just remember thinking the Showbiz Pizza and Chucky Cheese robots being really creepy when I was younger... if they can find a way to successfully tap into that fear, then more power to them. Ha, no easy task I'm sure.

Those things above are creepy as eff! I cant believe some kids in america like those.. They are scary and will eat you if you turn your back at them.
Haha those damn things will cause more traumas than the three games plus movie put together
Those are a part of my childhood. Going to chuck e cheese in the 80s was one of the holy grails of birthday parties. It was more about the video games back then before they pretty much eliminated them due to hooligans. The animatronics were mighty freaky but they made it fun and offered that taste of disneyish wonder when you were shoving pizza down your gullet.
I tried the first game and really wasnt convinced it was much of a game. It involves static images that represent cameras and you must flip between them looking for missing anamatronics. Like a sad flash game with next to zero animation.
If you mess up and dont catch it in time you are treated to a jump scare and you are dead.
Maybe the game has improved with the second or 3rd in the series but i cant imagine how..
