So, I got this off of a torrent (much easier than wading through Japanese sites and shoving things together in a trial-and-error format until somthing works...), and it works just fine...

But I suck! I managed to find a site with movelists, but it's Japanese. I ran it through Google translator, but it only does so much of it, and doesn't translate Robin Mask! It did do Terryman, though, but try as I might I can't pull of a single move, at least, not on purpose. I did manage to like suplex somebody or something once on accident. I haven't even won a single round except for as Kin I managed to accidentally somehow come back from death with full health when the clock only had like 5 seconds left so I won by having less damage. I think I kind of figured out Terry's super punch and what looks like a really weak version of Brocken Jr's Red Rain of Pain... I also managed to stop the train as Terryman a few times, and I think I figured out how that works. I guess that doesn't say much about my ability, though, if the only move I can reliably perform is one I can only do when I lose, huh? XD

This looks like a great game, and even getting my butt handed to me I had some fun. I'd like to slap Mariposa, Black Hole, and Kamehame into there (which begs the question, why the heck did they put Brockenman in before these guys?), but I think I'd rather try to figure out how to PLAY first. Any advice for someone who can't even pull off the most basic of moves? Thanks.

Well Ultimate Carl most Supers and I say most not all are done with

this should help u win some matches, a cheap way to win is pick a fast charecter such as sneagator and just trapping the comp with the fierce button as the animation is too slow to allow them to stop u

Oh a quick piece of advice is to set the keyboard up a way u like to make it easier. for me the buttons are Z X C and the movement is set to the arrow keys.

There is no definate sprite sheet as different groups make characters. So in a sense, you'd need the sprite sheets of over 30 site. The problem is that most of em' closed a while back.

Hey I downloaded this game a few days ago, It took a little of trial and error to get it working following the advice posted in this thread, heck one of my first initial problems was not downloading enough characters

Anyway I understand the concept of having to switch certain characters like Kamen for Mariposa and vice-versia. But for some reason I can't Big Budo to appear in both the single and multi-player mode, does anyone here know what to do to get him to appear or if I'm missing a character slot or something?

Okay thanks for your help, I tried that and he didn't show up in the single player mode, so I thought fine maybe Budo's a multiplayer character, tried to select him there and I couldn't see him cause the game gave me an error message which of course I can't read cause its Japanese, so I decided to screw it and keep Mariposa to complete the 5 Prince collection

Still this game is absurdly fun! Despite the brokenness of Akuma Shogun...he's the only reason why I've lost the game at all. Damn came close to victory so many times and he'd have a counter to my finisher...though I completely kicked his ass as Ashuraman! He may not have a huge movelist like Kinnikuman but damn he can do the job

If your getting an error message when moving through charecters to pick ur player then u havent downloaded alll of the neccesarry ones. I had this problem before but since downloading all the characters i dont get it anymore and the roster goes all the way around if u keep hitting left(or right) Also the long horn train with Buffaloman is better than Mongolmans! BTW anyone else notice Chaos as Kin Great 3 during a win by Mongolman?

Actually the problem I had was the free characters, meaning the ones that AREN'T neccessary to have, my problem was Budo and I found out that you cou;dn't have him and Kamehame at the same time, figuring that out, I switched between the two and kept Budo, as fun as Kamehame was, Budo has a lot more cooler moves, plus its fun to see what flies off your opponent when you crossbomber them...

and yes I did notice Kinnikuman Great the 3rd taking Mongolman's faceprint...couldn't get it twice though

Actually u can have both! I have Blackhole,Budo,Screw Kid, Mongolman, Haniwaman,Dr Bombe,Devil Magician,Mariposa,the extra Akuma Shogun, and extra Neptuneman,Kamhama,Mr Kamen, and Monssieur Cheeks and they are all xtra charecters! I can post how if anyone wants me too?

I stopped screwing around a while ago, but I assumed the character select was limited.

For example, I wasn't a Hawkman fan, so I replaced him with Barrier Freeman.
The only way I know is to rename the file YOU WANT as the file you want rid of
(So I named Barrier as Hawkman) then pasted it in the file. Hawkman was gone and he was in his place.

That is how I do it oo Bob however I figured out a simple way to understand the gibberish in the files. After unzipping a character change the name to read (gibberish)Hawkman for example. Then when you un zip his file again. you should have 2 hawkman files one with just the gibberish one with gibberish and his name. Now to replace him unzip Blackhole. Rename BHs gibberish with a copy of hawkman's. now BH is in the Hawkman spot. Rename the Hawkman file to BH so to keep track of who you have and where they are.

The charecter list is limited as Bob said so in my game i replaced Hawkman,Goleman,Leoparden,Manriki,Motorman. You should have 4 free slots though for the xtra guys.

Since this thread has been necro-bumped, I might as well ask this question here. Is there a way to increase the roster size beyond 48 slots? Don't get me wrong, 47 characters (and one training mode) is already a dang large roster as is, but anyone who has knowledge of the game should know full well that there are certainly more then 47 characters out there. The problem is that I don't know how to increase the number of slots, if that's even possible. Can anyone help me with that?

You cant change that. All characters have a set AI. You can change the time and stage.

hey GB i would just like to know how to change the time & stage in MF. i've had the same one since i first got the game XD thanks.
oh and is there any way to ad more rounds?
