Wow man. If there was any beast I'd send for a custom paint job would have been Rubberneck. Awesome job Mike.

Nice style, looking good!

Did you do some tricks with the looks in photoshop as well or is it just the outline of the figs you adjusted there or with another kind of filter?

Planning to do any others or just waiting for commission now? ;)

Thanks, no tricks, just photographed against a white background and then given a grey background with a white outer glow in photoshop.

I've just bought some more on e-bay, so yes will paint up some more. Watch this space.

Woah... a Danger Dog... that looks COOL? I'd have thought that impossible! I always considered him one of the lamer ones, and here you've given him a better color scheme and suddenly he looks amazing. Fantastic work on the rest of them, too- I could have sworn you just painted this in photoshop until I opened up the thumbnails and revealed they were actual FIGURES that you'd painted! Puts my "striped zebra" into perspective :).

Thanks, appreciate your comments. Painting figures is all about enjoyment, you did a good job on your zebra, and I always look at it this way, If I'm happy with the result of my finished paint job then thats fine,  its just a bonus if others like the result too.

Someone else thought I'd done some sort of photoshop job, so just to be sure see attached Pic.

Mike, I'm finding your coloring really inspiring.  Did you wash those to get that look?

Thanks, no I mainly use layers, base, medium and highlights over an initial black primer, using drybrushing. I only use washes on flesh based skintones.

You might want to PM Mike. I haven't seen him on here for a few months. I might have to hit him up on that Rubberneck.

Hi

Thanks for your enquiry. Battle Beasts to my standard come in at £18.00 GBP which at current exchange rates is $23 plus shipping.

You would need to supply me the figure.

Hi Fisheye

Hope you are well, thanks for the recomendations. Iv'e had a pretty crap summer, with family illness amongst other issues which has kept me away from the paintbrushes.

Hence nothing doing for a while, however I'm now able to set aside some time and get painting again. I have currently a couple of historical 54mm commissions to complete and will follow on with some more MUSCLES and Beasts. Rubberneck is yours if you want him, shoot me a PM.

Rgds

Mike
