You'd think if there was really something to this, that being only two months away they would have more than a Logo and re-newed copyright to show.

Yeah right.
There will be a pro wrestling style swerve, and it will be revealed that DST is bringing back Power Lords as mini mates.

I just did a little poking around on who owns the domain. I've met him before and if my hunch is right, these figures are going to be off the effing hook!

I hope so! I enjoyed the toys from the 80's. Too bad the plastic was so flimsy.

The only ones I had as a kid were Ggripptogg and Trigore, but I really loved them, and I can't wait to see what these guys come up with. :)

Yeah, got the purple guys with the butterfly wings and he didn't survive abeit I was pretty careful with my toys. Weird design, it's fun to see them make a comeback. Wonder if it'll be re-cast of the old ones of complitely new figure based on the old design... Both could be fun.

Can't believe they're remaking these! They were always the outsider enemies for my MOTU as a kid... Shame they always broke, especially Arkus. I still have some of these including Trigore and Ggripptogg moc. :)

Wow, I hadn't even heard about this. I don't collect Powerlords figures, but I do have
the complete set of the wind ups on card, and all of the mini PVC's loose. Really original looking characters in that line. Here's a pic of the windups, top left:

I'm following this revival. Not sure if I'll buy in or not but I always liked these odd ducks. Never had any as a kid but a lot of my friends did.

I think they are being made as straight action figures. Not so much focus on the gimmicks. I have mixed feelings about this line. I love Power Lords and have all the bad guys. I always thought the good guys were just too goofy looking. I'm excited about what the 4Horsemen could do with the Power Lords Line, but my fear is that they may end up being too expensive or two limited when trying to get them. I don't know? Someone correct me if I'm wrong but some of their OuterSpaceMen toys are quite rare and hard to get. Thus equaling $$$ on the secondary market. That's why I never even bothered with that line. I hope the same does not hold true for power lords.

I never understood why there was never a Powerlords micro line. Even 2" figures would be sweet.

I think since Revell was a company known for making models, the action figure realm was still new territory for them. Might not have had the mindset. I agree a mini-figure line would have been cool. The only other toys produced besides the action figure line were some wind-ups. Odd?

EDIT: New Power Lords at NY Toy Fair 2013. Looks pretty cool so far. Picture courtesy of Pixel Dan.

I don't know, I have almost the whole collection of Power Lords, and I kinda have high hopes from 4H. Their work has been amazing so far, ya know. If these are anything like the MOTUC figures, they will have plenty of gimmicks, extra parts, and variations. Even better, is that Wayne Barlowe, the artist behind the Power Lords is assisting in the design process. I think those of us who will be collecting these will be in for a real treat.
